I didnt think the result was that much of a surprise, even if I'd preferred different.

However, the rest of the show was pretty damning where ben is concerned, and I think the nom twist will put him up as well.

Sonia said it was the final nominations superpower, didn't hear her say it was the final nominations (though I may have missed it).

Ben and Michael saying how wrong it is for people to feel superior to others, while they themselves frequently say they feel superior to others. Real hypocrisy, I guess it fools some of the audience though.

Apologies for past episodes, I was only trying to explain why Michael is unlikely to get a thrd strike. I won't refer to previous season again. I usually only post on the current series after episodes are posted. It also happens on the Australian Forum from visiting Brits when watching UKBB and I should of known better, I have requested it to be removed
I dont think you hould have to apologise for anything

Past events are already well out of the bag - for those that struggle with that, forums are not the best place to discuss the present- I agree domething that involves a time difference is slightly different i.e. something that happened a few hours ago in another country has technically not happened in say the UK: But something that happened years ago - please

This threadf is about us watching a program that has the time delay. I am guilty of saying something that I have already watched and think others have also seen and have not used a spoiler - mostly because we are already in the who knows what situation and a thread made up of spoilers is madness and so not fun

Still don't agree with outside contact thing, even if they can't talk to them, but suppose it will be interesting to see how the HM's do react. Would imagine noms wil pretty come out the same though, the F&F's picking who the HM they represent picks.

Haven't seen today's show so don't know the percentages but know who's gone.

Oh dear, and this was looking to be a good return for BBAUS too
not a good twist when involving the outside families/friends etc and nominations, too much influence.

I don't like outside contact at all, regardless of the fact that the HM's can't talk to them. I assume F&F would go for Ben or Sam, depending which group their HM they represent is in, I then completely change my mind and think the F and F's won't nom Ben, because he is so favoured so wonder if some may play it more tactically, maybe going for Zoe and Sam because if their HM was up against them they may stand more chance of staying as they were the ones with the least saves.

I do think though that Sam and Estelle could go for Ben. Sam for tactical and Estelle because she had words with him. I think if Sam has a word with Layla, she could go for Ben too. It does seem to be they see him more as the leader than Michael.

Uh-oh, I'm starting to really like Layla again but if she has a major meltdown over the superpower like she did last time then I may reconsider. lol

I think she gets to be the only one that can confer with her F&F during nominations. So going to be some histrionics, for sure.

i agree with everything ... happy about the result.

But to punish Ben with nomination points if he does it again is pretty pointless coz there are no more nominations as far as i know.

He was threatened with being ejected from the house, I don't think that would happen but I also think Ben won't be doing it again to call BB's bluff.

I am happy to see him too, 2 of my all time favourites in this list and 2 previous winners one which is now legally blind with a degenerative eye condition, it will be an interesting week.

Nominations

Spoiler
Not up on youtube yet, but saw on the BBAUS forums who was up.

Still wished Angie hadn't given Layla the superpower. The fact that she did kind of showed how Angie had no idea what her 'friends' really thought of her and Layla, who was happy to nom her and accuse her of being the reason she herself bitched, never mentioned anything to Angie, her mate, about what she really thought about her. Still, that's life I guess, maybe a lesson for Angie to learn!!!
