T-Mobile Retention Offers
Anybody know the type of retention deals they will offer to keep existing customers?
My mate is paying about £30 a month just now for 900 minutes and unlimited text and has been offered a HTC Wildfire S for free if he sticks on the same plan for another 18 months. I reckon he should be able to get a deal for either a better phone or at a reduced price. Any advice? |

If he needs the 900 minutes and wants an 18 month contract max, then it looks like a decent deal.
If he's willing to have say 600 minutes, or if he's willing to go to a 24 month contract, he may be able to find a better deal by switching - also if he's willing to consider free gift and cashback offers. |

He needs the 900 minutes. Uses his phone for work.
I'd have thought that since he was an existing customer they might offer him a reduction on his rental as well as a better phone. Will speak to him about gift and cashback offers and see what h has to say about that. |

If he is paying £30 a month and they are only offering a wildfire S i would tell them to stuff it , its a buget handset.
For £30 a month on T-Mobile they are offering the Motorola Atrix for free to name just one and thats on a 900 minute tariff. FWIW when i said enough they offered me 300 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £10 a month which suited me great. |
