And yet which strategy worked? Daniele has far to big an ego. She may think her gameplay was superior or whatever, but all it got her was 8th place and a week in the jury with Jeff and Brendon.

I'm sorry but I can't fathom that at all. Daniele was the only one of the vets who didn't think that the newbies owed her something. JJBR all got so angry whenever anyone went against their wishes, like it was their devine right to be in the house. Yes, the strategy worked but Daniele had the balls to go against them. If she'd managed to pull that move off, she would have dominated the game. I do think she struck too early though.

Can you fathom anything that isn't pro-Dani?

Honestly, I know what she's saying, and yeah, the way the other Vets (Jeff in particular) treated the newbies was very annoying, but the girl just needs to give credit where it's due. If trying to take the moral high ground gets her through the night then so be it, but it's not going to change anything. Her game was horrible, and she deserved to go when she did.

Credit for what though? Rachel was a strong competitor, but not a deserving winner. She was helped along the way by so many twists and Porsche would have been a more fitting candidate IMHO as she played a better game. Why should she give credit to a girl who called her a bitch?

She played a terrible game. She had top 5 pretty much guaranteed from the beginning.

The vets totally dominated the first four weeks (including Dani's HoH), at some point Brenchel and JJ would've turned on eachother and she'd have coasted right through the middle and probably right into the top two. She had the best position in the house and totally ruined it.

Daniele made plenty of dumb moves, but if it wasn't for the stupid returning player twist her and Kalia looked set for quite some time.

It's the reason you can't really a judge a win properly these days because of the continuous twists. Rachel was a decent winner this season, but lots of twists went in her favour.

They've had returning players since BB3, it's not like it's a shocking new twist. And since Daniele has benefited more from twists than anyone else in the history of the show due to America's Player, you'd think she'd be a bit more self-aware

Saying Rachel wasn't a deserving winner but Porsche was is a pure matter of opinion. I thought that both were worthy, so would have been happy either way on reflection. Others would say Porsche did virtually nothing but lie low all Summer.

But with Dani, I just feel like for somebody who constantly harps on about respecting the game and loving the game, she'd just say "well done" and move on from it. She can try to big herself up as much as she wants, but her downfall was her own. If you respect the game, you should respect the winner because players don't win in flukes. Obviously more people on the jury thought Rachel deserved to win more than Porsche did, so she should respect that, even if she doesn't respect Rachel.

Why should she give credit to a girl (Porsche) who stole people's belongings and spiked the Slop with Benifiber and didn't tell anybody besides Dani and Kalia?

I was thinking more specifically of the Pandora's Box 1 Week Returning Duos twist, and the subsequent very rare endurance veto competition that week. That all seemed a little bit too convenient.

And yeah, not defending Daniele on that point, Season 8 was the most rigged season of the lot.

But when did she say she didn't respect her win? All she is doing is answering questions that she's been given about Rachel and the other vet's personal choices while in the house this summer and this is what she responded with. I re-posted the quote because I thought it was very accurate and summed the season up quite well.

Daniele Donato:

"The difference between them and myself is I wanted people to work with me, they wanted everyone to work for them."
Like most of Dani's pronouncements, this is self serving BS. Jeff was working with her, until she stabbed him in the back. Brenchel were working with her until they refused to accede to her demand to backdoor Jeff. A move which would have only benefitted her and not Brenchel. Indeed, her open hostility to those she was claiming to be working with ended up costing Dominic his life in the game. And wait, wasn't Dominic working with Dani too?

Then when Dani knew she was in danger of being backdoored herself, she tried to make a deal to work with Jeff (again), knowing all the while that her drones, Kalia and Porsche were set up to target him anyway. Then after she had been nominated, she needed Adam's vote to save her. She offered him everything under the sun, including the exhalted privelege of working with her, telling Porsche that she would offer him an F2 deal "then whoops" immediately she was safe. Even Adam saw through that nonsense.

To quote Evel Dick:" Dani's game consists of her offering you a deal that has obvious benefits for her, but none at all for you." Dani got what she so richly deserved; backdoored by Big Jeff, then beaten to the AC by Big Jeff, such sweet poetic justice.

But everything you've said doesn't change the way the vets played the game. She didn't go along getting pissed off when people refused to help her and claim that "no one was playing the game" just because they weren't on the vets side. Her statement rings true and I think whatever your opinion of Dani it would be hard to argue with it.

Nonsense. Jeff and Jordan were working with Adam and Shelly. Jeff threw the cornhole Veto to Adam, knowing the likely consequences for Brendon, whom they subsequently voted against (risking their relationship with Rachel) to keep Shelly.

J+J were playing with Dani until she stabbed them in the back. J+J were playing with Shelly until she too stabbed them in the back.

She didn't go along getting pissed off when people refused to help her and claim that "no one was playing the game" just because they weren't on the vets side.
This is laughable. Didn't you see Dani's reaction when Adam refused to do her bidding and vote for her? She was so pissed off and desperate that she even told him her dad wouldn't like him anymore! She also claimed she would not vote for him at F2 in any circumstances. Playing personally much? She certainly did accuse Adam of not playing the game, because he wasn't playing her game.

Her statement is as arrogant and self serving as her "entitled" eviction speech.

Child of Tyra I agree with you.

Whatever you think of Dani or her game. The self-entitled attitude of the vets especially Jeff and Jordan made me sick about the season. Thank God Dani actually made a stand even if it did f*ck up her game for her in the end.

Oh please, if you watched the live feeds, you would see that Dani was acting the exact same way as the rest of the vets except she did it alone and had her newbies hoodwinked.

She accused everyone in that house of not playing the game at some point in time. It was a different person each week.

The reason why she turned on the vets is because she knew she couldn't control them. Her excuse is because she didn't want to play their game, the real reason is because they wouldn't play HER game. So, she scooped up some of the newbies and did exactly what she accused the other vets of doing.

Like who you like, but at least recognize how hypocritical BB players are. They always were and they always will be.

It's strange like everyone else i agree season 8 was the most rigged ever. However even with the rigging i kept watching. But once i knew Pandora's box was back in the game(episode 24?) i just stopped watching. First time ever, only just found who won!

I see Shelly voted for Rachel. I guess she got back to arselicking J&J in the jury house? I thought she would stick 2 fingers up to Rachel and producers because she was screwed over bigtime...

Shelly said she was happy voting out Jeff, she just felt she did it a week too soon. And Rachel outplayed Shelly and I think recognised her as a good gameplayer and being good in competitions.

1 Rachel
2 Porsche

5 Kalia
6 Shelly
7 Jeff
8 Daniele

She was sixth out, but finished in 8th place.

Plus, like I pointed out before finale night, Rachel's reasons for wanting to win were much more appealing to Shelly, a mother.

Rachel wanted the money to pay off Brendon's student debts, get married and set herself up for having children in the not-so-distant future.

Porsche wanted to win so she could move to LA to try to be a TV hostess..

When all is said and done, Rachel had far better reasons to want the money than Porsche. Porsche would likely have wasted the money on a pipe-dream, because it's not really all that likely that she'd become a TV star.
