I've had a Moulinex blender for 20 years and it's still going strong and I've no need to update it. The equivalent today I've just noted is selling for about £35, it's a Moulinex table blender with coffee/nut grinder attachment, just like mine.

So I can only recommend a Moulinex.

I have a Moulinex hand blender.
I also have a Russell Hobbs Jug Blender at work and use it a lot.

I bought the Kenwood Multi Pro FP250 for around £60 3 months ago and think it's superb. I know it's above your price but may be worth it because it's got the food processor as well as the blender. I think they probably do some that aren't brushed aluminium which are cheaper too.

Thanks Blokey, I was trying to steer away from food processors as I already have a Magimix which cost £150 a few years ago. I've hardly used it and lost some pieces

I bought a Comet own brand - Proline - blender a couple of years ago and it is excellent. The goblet is glass so it's tough.
