I went to get my copy from Asda today and they had sold out.
They said there's some comming in tonight so they'll put one to one side for me.
Hopefully I'll get mine tomorrow.

I love the album artwork!

The artwork is very good indeed. It's very "tim burton" I think. Not in an obvious way either. Just the weird-kookiness of it all. It feels like something i've seen before from a photographer or something? Love it!

I was gazing into my signed poster looking at it then did a slight jump at the sight of the swan in the bath behind her!

I like the artwork a lot, I think I prefer a lot of it to the actual album cover.

The picture of her and the horse would have made an incredible cover.

i have to say the artwork is pretty good to be fair. the lyrics were pretty impressive too, for a first attempt. the bit in `i` where she sings about people posting on the internet made me giggle!

Anyone actually expecting her to be in the Top 40 midweeks tomorrow?

No because tomorrow is Tuesday

In all fairness, it really hasn't helped that iTunes only put the album on there until one hour ago (well as a full album anyway).

Is top 20 an unrealistic hope?

Not at all! Earlier today I would have said yes but this is selling fast, it's only been available as a full album on iTunes for 2 hours!

You also have to consider physical copies though + she could fall quick at any given time this week. Obviously her small fanbase will be buying the album today but given that her latest single charted at number 40 yesterday gives you an indication of how popular she is.

This wouldn't be a traditional Nicola Roberts thread if _Venger_ didn't show his unnatural hate for the ginger goddess. I am very impressed with what I have heard of the album so far, might wait until I get the chance to play the physical copy, if I can resist listening to them all online, not much chance of that!

In particular, 'Take A Bite' has been attracting most of my iPod's attention recently. I just love it.

I actually dont have any probem with Nicola when she is part of Girls Aloud but I dont think she cuts it solo at all. Hate is a very strong word and I certainly dont have it for Nicola.

Also all the points I made are pretty accurate whether you want to believe them or not, I can't make you can I.

To be fair, the album only came out a week after the single, I think a lot of people would have waited the extra week to get the whole album instead of getting the single.

Possibly but how many fans of other artists have thought the same? look at Melanie C for instance.

I wasn't necessarily disagreeing with your points made but generally I'd bet in the majority Nicola-related threads you do seem to have an unnatural interest in her, more than her fanbase it seems! I am a huge fan of Nicola and welcome opinions on her of all kinds (otherwise where would discussion come from), I was just pointing out that you seem more dedicated to Nicola than even those proud members of 'Team Ginge'.

Fair enough

I am willing to be proven wrong in that her album will in fact do well.

If you're not a fan then why do you care where the album charts? I agree with you though, I don't think it will do particularly well. I'm predicting slightly higher than Sophie Ellis-Bextors most recent one - maybe about #27.

Its a fantastic album though, and that's all that really matters in the end.

But in this instance I think you have a point. As fantastic as the album is, and IMO it's really, really great, I think it'll go by largely unnoticed by most.

.
Not really I thoroughly enjoy alot of Girls Aloud singles and think Nadine Coyle's "Insatiable" is an excellent unheard little record.

I do believe Nadine is the only talented one in the band who can actually sing of course.

Nadine had the best voice by a million miles in GA, but I think Nicola has quite an interesting voice, which she put to good use with exciting material, unlike Nadine.

I seriously wish Nadine would come out with something as strong as Cinderella's Eyes, aside from Lullaby and Runnin, I don't think that album was fantastic. You do wonder what could come out with Nicola's songwriting skills and Nadine's voice combined...
