Charlie Brooks, Mike Reid, Sid Owen and Sophie Lawrence are all in secret talks to return to Eastenders for Janine's court case next summer at first producers were not going to have Janine's court case on screen but because of popular demand ee bosses want it to happen a show insider has said 'producers want all the butchers back for one last time and Janine's court case is the best way to do it viewers will also see Pat lie in the dock and one last confrontation with Frank and Peggy'

back for one last time

Another one last time?!?! How many more one last times do these people want?! It would be good to see Janine get a proper send-off, but I think this is a bit of a fishy story.

Well it has already been revealed about Mike Reid having secret talks and Mal Young said last week he wanted a big Janine court case so I don't know it could be true.

So what you're saying it might not be true after you've just made a thread telling everyone on here that it is true?!

Do you have a source for this?

Sophie Lawrence played Diane Butcher Janines older sister there is also another sister called Claire so she would have to play some part as she raised Janine.

Claire was played by ex-Corrie star Caroline O'Neill (she played Andrea Clayton in Corrie). Would be nice to have the whole Butcher Clan together as its never been done! (As far as i know)

Sid bloody Owen. Again. Give me strength. Can't he go release another cod-reggae piece-of-shit and keep out of Walford. Without Bianca, Ricky is useless. Last stint he didn't even bother acting.

Yeh Dippy Ricky, it be good to see him back with his dear old dad again though, but definitely he shouldn't hang abaut after the trial. Will this lead to Janine's introduction back to Walford? Isn't she already in prison like.

Was Mal Young in charge of the Mandy and Beth Jourdache murder trial for the death of Trevor - because that has to be the most realistic court case on a soap yet - but i think they should wait untill LB's been sacked before they even go there.

i suppose, but i think it would be difficult to schedual filming before the tour finishes unless she takes a break from the stage tour as she is meant to be on stage 6 nights and 1 or 2 matinees a week. it is not even as if she is in the west end so she can commute to and from the london studios as it is a national uk tour.

how far ahead does EE film, as if it is not going to be shown until the summer, then it may not film until after Boogie Nights 2 has toured

Well maybe if they do go ahead with the court case - maybe it won't be shown untill the end of 2005 as part of their Autumn schedule ??
