SB Week One opinions
So, we have just seen week one of Sunset Beach. What is everyone's opinions of the show so far.
For me it is quite different from when i start watching the first time but im still really loving it! Its good to be able to watch the show from the very start and see how the characters develop. And what a great ending to the week, Del has been shot!

Todays is the first episode I remembered. I taped it and I have it on now- seems to have a pretty big cheese factor and rubbish acting but it might grow on me as I understand these factors are it's charm!

I've really enjoyed watching it from the start for the 1st time. I thought the first episode was a bit on the dodgy side but since then every episode has gotten gradually more enjoyable.
Looking forward to next week... |

This is the second time around for the first week for me as I was lucky enough to catch it (through borrowing tapes) from the ITV2 episodes.
When it was first shown on Channel 5, I watched from the fourth week and that very episode I was hooked! Some of this first week has been memorable from last time, but there were a few things that I genuinely forgot. And I've seen years two and three a considerable number of times since I have the lot on tape!! Hopefully, five will show more than year one, but one thing that they need to do is embrace the cult of Sunset Beach once again. We need JD and our end bits back!!

Very good indeed!
However, Cassey's acting is awful, and Micheals. |

I prefer the show when it really starts getting campy and breaking all the rules, but the first week has been interesting! Im not suprised some of these characters were phased out, Paula & Rae are pretty dull.
The line i wont forget: Olivia (in Del's bed covered in jewels): Why don't we spread this all over the bed and ... make love in it!

Over 400 people have downloaded episode 1. It's very popular, I just hope it's as popular on Five.

As long as when you resume downloading, when it asks you to save the file you choose the one you have already been downloading. |

Thought Id add one of the creators of SB and its headwriter, Bob Guza is now headwriter for General Hospital. He actually left GH in 97 to create SB and is now has been back on GH since 2002.

To be more correct, Bob Guza left GH in 1996 to create Sunset Beach, left Sunset Beach in 1997 to return to GH, left GH again in 2000 then came back in 2002.
Bob Guza actually gets blamed for most of the problems that GH is suffering from these days...but its not just him...the guy in charge of ABC Daytime Brian Frons is also heabily criticised and so is the executive producer Jill Faren Phelps...who has a bit of a reputation for ruining perfectly good soaps LOL....sorta like an American Louise Berridge. |

Jill Farren Phelps! Yes, she is the American Berridge, she is despised!!!
She was exec on Guiding Light, killing off one of its most beloved characters, matriach Maureen Bauer. Fans of Another World suffered a similar fate when she had popular heroine Frankie Frame murdered in a drawn out sequence when the character was begging for her life before being strangled to death. Then, JFP's terror touched Llanview (oNE life to live), as she thrust new family the Rappaports to the front of the canvas and fired beloved staple Robin Strasser as Dorian. Phelps is known for firing old hats and brigning in actors she knows to fill roles (these actors are known as 'The Friends of Jill' or FOJ's. She also by rumour has a BLACKLIST. Now, Phelps is exec at GH and is accused of being biassed to the Corinthos clan at the expense of older characters. |

For some reason I cannot get on www.torrentbox.com. It says I am forbidden. Does anyone know why this might be?
