There are thousands of different methods of broadcasts, these methods are for the reason of news, entertainment and social views. It's always been like that and choice of broudcast service providers depends on the social environment the audience live in. Each selection of broadband or IPTV, which is a real time broadcast. The initial audiences depend on an indivudual country and the speed of the service provider. If there is a IPTV service provider that covered real time world wide service this would be match fix. The world is devided into conitents and whatever service comes along the world is built on a time platform that for scientists could have always been there.
Sell me a box that transmits a signal that shows me what i want to learn about not what i want to see then I expect another service will do the opposite, Thats not a problem as somewhere in the world another provider, serving on a slower or faster platfrom tranmits their own belief as to whats going on. if the whole world was transmitted on one server, where would the excited be in learning more about others.
That's the beauty of british televsion, there are shows and documentaries for the viewers that teach us about the past, future and whats going on now. As for foreign service providers, I'm not sure how there broadcasts are shown over the protocol, that's their business.
