I thought the whole thing was off as paul was getting his own teatime chatshow on itv1

paul o'grady will def appear in emmerdale, around new year, but no word has yet been given as to what his storylines may involve. it will be a short stint though due to his other commitments.

so in other words, Paul O'Grady will arrive in the same way as Charity did, at Butch's funeral.
