Left over credit and what to do with it?

Hello,

I'm moving phone number from one network to another. The network I'm moving from will not let me transfer the remaining credit I have to another sim (even on the same network).

I've got about 20 quid to use up. Is there anything that I can use SMS to pay for e.g. donations? Paypal? That type of thing.

Could enter a load of tv competitions. Normally they contact you back on the number you used to enter but as you are porting that won't be a problem.

Check any of your favourite charity websites and see if they have a text donate option.

There is also a bookies that allows you to bet by SMS. http://www.betnow.co.uk . If I remember right you can withdraw winning at post office though you will need to confirm ID

EDIT ignore the bookies, betnow has closed. There may be similar sites though
