Me too. HBO at their best. With programmes like this I can understand why Sky are not wishing to sell it cheaply to Virgin.

Thanks for the heads up on the date. Loved it and am looking forward to starting again.
So pleased I have Sky. Had to brag to my sis how good Mildred Pearce was.

Why are Sky showing it 2 weeks after the première?
It starts in the US on Sunday, and I was figuring given how high profile it is that they would do a Game of Thrones next-day deal with Boardwalk. |

Also pleased this is returning. I've got right back into S2 of Treme and this will be a welcome addition to my weekly viewing schedule.

ye really enjoyed this show, hoping to see more of chalky (anyone who has seen the Wire will know why), i have stayed away from all spoilers or interviews regarding the next series so literally have no idea what direction it is going in.

I missed Boardwalk Empire when first shown so I've only just watched the last episode of the first series on Sky and now I only have to wait until Saturday for the new Season. Hoorah!
I love how everyone is shades of grey in this programme, even the lovely Mrs Shroeder knew that she would have to prostitute herself out to survive. Fantastic. Just one request, can they sort Jimmy's hair out please, its all kinds of awful. |

I thought you didn't believe in Gift's
Great return to BE last night.
But I'm not sure about Jimmy's Mum, at the House, with Angela, very creepy. The Jimmy and Nucky situation....is going to be interesting, this season...simmering nicely at the Moment. Nelson made me Laugh....with the Bed Board....moment...And him and his Wife, should team up, after the Dinner raid. kkk, scared me....the Nun too. And Richard is still menacing and with a Scrap 'Book' now. "Tag it, Catalog it and Destroy it" |

yeah, it was a good episode, glad it's back.
Loved Nucky's speech which segwayed from the black crowd to the white crowd. it was funny. |

After the initial KKK attack it got a little slow. They were definitely trying to set things in motion though, and Nucky knows Jimmy is up to something.
I did laugh though when Nucky was telling the black congregation that "whites are bad" then the immediate cut to him telling the white folks that "blacks are bad". |

They seemed to pick up the pace which is appreciated. Nucky clearly knows there's a coup going on against him and who is involved. And don't piss off Chalky White!
