It's on RTE2 around 6pm, but hasn't yet reached the heights of Home And Away on the channel. It rerely makes it into the top 15 or 10 anyway.

ITV are mental employing Jeremy Kyle in prime-time, he's the Iceland of presenters. Cheap, nasty and very cold.

By doing this they degrade their brand to the lowest possible level, even channel 5 will seem high-brow in comparison.

Do you have BBC1's overnights for yesterday? With BBC1 Scotland getting a 38% share, about double what the Body Farm has been getting in the Scotland region, I suspect that would've bumped up BBC1's overnight rating for 9pm by about 400k compared to recent weeks?

The Scotland match actual playing time ran 19:45 - 21:34. Be interesting to see a breakdown for BBC1 to see how much it was boosted as a network during that time.

Awful night for ITV1 last night, even by Tuesday standards.

Thanks. First of all, that's a strong rating for The One Show - I haven't seen it hit a 24% share in ages. EastEnders and Holby City were solid. I'm a little surprised that The Body Farm was down compared to recent weeks considering the inflated Scotland region audience, but I suppose English and Welsh viewers watching the Scotland match on BBC2 might've dented TBF. Very poor night for ITV1 by the way, the High Stakes rating is one of the lowest ratings that slot has ever had. It could even fall below 2m if it slips throughout the series. Once again, another flop for the ITV Light Entertainment Department.

I think Jeremy Kyle is the problem, I love quiz shows and tried to watch it, and indeed the concept might have been OK, but he was awful. He barraged the poor woman into giving her answers, maybe I'm a terribly sensitive soul but I found it uncomfortable to watch. I think a midweek quiz would be good for a change.

“Anne Widdecombe is to front Sky Atlantic’s first quiz show as the channel branches out from its drama and factual beginnings.

The 30 x 60-minute series Cleverdicks, which is likely to be stripped across weekdays in an early evening slot, is being produced by Splash Media and will air early next year.

Each episode will see four contestants play for a cash prize, which they win by lasting the elimination process that concludes every round.

Clever Dicks concludes with an end-game that sees the remaining contestant answer quick fire questions which fall down a huge video wall.

The series, ordered by Sky’s head of entertainment Duncan Gray, is being filmed at Sky Studios.”

Interesting to note that it's being produced by an independent at Sky Studios.

With the new broadcast studio centre at Osterley, Harlequin 1, currently going into commission, Sky could save a few quid rather than using third party studios like BBC TV Centre, TalkBack's Teddington and Pinewood as they now do.

Why on earth are they developing this for Sky Atlantic? The branding for this channel is all over the place.

I think Sky Atlantic could do with its own channel controller. At the moment it seems to be something of a side project for Stuart Murphy (the Sky1 boss) but the channel needs someone to steer it in a coherent direction.

I think it could also do with picking up a few more shows from the U.S but I guess its a question of deciding what content should go on Atlantic and what should go on Sky1. For example, I imagine Sky will go for Alcatraz and Touch but they seem more like Sky 1 shows. Atlantic certainly could do with a few more 'mainstream' shows but obviously ones of high quality so that they fit in with the channels image.

So it does look like BB's got a new core following of 1.3 million.

I suspect the Republic of Ireland game which started at 6.45pm and ran til about 8.30 will also have done reasonably well on Sky Sports and may dent early evening share for other channels a bit.

I also suspect that The Hour on STV at 8pm probably got its lowest ever ratings last night!

It was always part of the plan to have UK commissions both factual and entertainment developed for the pre-watershed 8pm slot.

I suppose this show would be seen as not 'light' enough for Sky1.

Bit like putting Eggheads on BBC2 and not BBC1 or BBC4.
