Just been having a quick look at how Neighbours has been getting on, on Channel 11 in Australia recently. Still doing pretty well:
W/B Sept 5th Monday - 355k (30th most watched) Tuesday - 377k (30th most watched) Wednesday - 323k (32nd most watched) Thursday - 302k (32nd most watched) Friday - 243k (32nd most watched) W/B Sept 12th Monday - 359k (29th most watched) Tuesday - 345k (30th most watched) Wednesday 328k (32nd most watched) Thursday - 318k (32nd most watched) Friday - 255k (29th most watched) Also over in the US it is the first day of their TV season today, so should be some interesting ratings out tomorrow, particularly Two And A Half Men. |

Two and a Half Men and 2 Broke Girls should launch well as will DWTS. Terra Nova premieres the week after and I expect it'll break at least 10m.
I imagine we'll see a few more shows that haven't been picked up yet being picked up, Unforgettable I think will go to either Channel 5/5USA, More4 or Sky Living, Person of Interest I think either Channel 5 or Sky1. |

A brief "prologue" before "Part 1" http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...istmas+ratings I like how ITV1 had a Saturday night blockbuster called "Whatever Happened To Gareth Gates?". Quite. ![]() It got walloped 12m to 4m by the Strictly final. Quote:
According to David Walliams' twitter account, The Royal Bodyguard begins at the end of November.
I suppose it doesn't have to air on Friday at 9pm. |

Michael McIntyre has quit Britains got Talent. Looks like ITV Will have to find 2 new judges again. my bet would be Cowell and Cole and the press would love that

Chance for them to see if it gets an audience before committing an episode to Christmas Night, particularly if the early clips don't look too promising?

![]() Would that not be a massive step down for Cheryl Cole? It just seems like such a naff show, at least with TXF it's supposed to be looking for the next big music star. |

Not sure if this has been mentioned but James Bolam has quit New Tricks! ....
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...ew-Tricks.html It says there that there is going to be a new series, so I wonder if they replace him or just go change it to a 3 person team? |

Autumn really setting in and the ratings soar. Helped by some white flag BBC1 scheduling too, and I guess some pre watershed rape on Corrie....
Interesting that DM can match DA with a mere fraction of the hype, promotion, commemorative editions of the Daily Mail, etc. |

yes they should really axe Downton shouldnt they?
![]() Smart scheduling to start DM the week after NT. It perfectly fills the void for 9m-10m people who crave some Monday night comfort drama. |

Clearly not, but they might be wondering whether it was really worth the trouble and.expense of the PR they've put in place all year!
Smart scheduling to start DM the week after NT. It perfectly fills the void for 9m-10m people who crave some Monday night comfort drama. If there wasnt the hype (or promotion!) maybe DA would have launched lower. but anyway the DA hype is coming from public interest and isnt manufactured. |
