Extraordinary People: The Woman Who Lost Her Face
Completing the ‘Extraordinary People’ strand on Channel 5 is the shocking, moving and inspirational story of Charla Nash – the American woman nearly mauled to death in chimpanzee attack two years ago. It is a case that has garnered international attention, but this programme is the first to follow Charla’s progress from the attack through the months of recovery and the pioneering face transplant that gave her a chance of a new life. It features interviews with the daughter and brothers who have stood by her and the doctors who have treated her, and also contains a WORLD EXCLUSIVE: the first interview with Charla since the face transplant took place.

In ‘The World’s Biggest Bomb: Revealed’ we hear from American eyewitnesses who nearly died and Pacific islanders still unable to return to their homes decades after the tests took place.

Movie Premiere: Quarantine (2008)
Horror. A news reporter and her cameraman are assigned to spend an evening shift with the Los Angeles fire service, when a routine call takes them to an incident in an apartment block. Once there they hear blood-curdling screams which lead them to a rabid woman, but on trying to escape they find the building has been sealed and they are now quarantined with a host of murderous, infected tenants.
