Just a quick post from me while lurking at work

There's no way we'll forget John. As a thread we at a bit of a low ebb at the moment (missing nyannie and Alex to name but two amongst several), but we have weathered a patch like this before and will do so again.

It would help us keep on topic if John were to make contact, of course

Ironbridge is in Shropshire. I cant see him being there unless he wants to visit the bridge or museum. There isnt much else there.

Just got back from a 'pie night' with the girls (oh okay, women.......... there isn't a good name for us 'ladies of a certain age' )
It might sound weird but it was a promotion by a local restaurant - home made steak and kidney pie, bottle of red wine and coffee for £17.50. Yum

That was lovely!! I haven't really looked at any vids etc for ages and it was great to see him. What a fantastic smile he has - he really is gorgeous isn't he!! I was struck by how happy he looked, especially in the earlier photos, and I felt a bit sad at how things turned out for him in the UK. I see there are rumours that he's over here at the moment - let's hope they're true. Now Josie has moved on this could be an ideal time for him to slip back into the country.

I see from the court thread that the decks have eventually been sold. To my mind, if you buy someone a present, you don't keep reminding them how much it cost and mentioning it all the time - especially to other people. If I give someone a gift it's because I want to make them happy, not embarrass them and put them in a difficult position. I wonder if he'll bother buying any more - he did seem to enjoy the DJing so it would be nice to think he's keeping it going.

I wondered if Josie mentioning the decks was her way of trying to get in touch with John ? We as fans find it faintly irritating and amusing that we have no contact at all with him, and id imagine that, even though they arent together, and are unlikely to ever get together again, there are things about John that Josie would miss...even if its just as simple as a shared experience....

also hasnt she sold the decks almost to the day, a year after she bought them? I wonder if the date is significant?
