Well i hope he does improve, the pressure on him must be immense,if a club pays that amount of money to get you.

That's true - and he's quite young I think - the LFC Thread is suggesting maybe he should have a spell out on loan to another club, to give him time to mature

Ah,looooong time since Leeds were among the top in the league, what did go wrong?

Actually I have no idea - better get googling - or maybe I could watch the film the 'Damned United', the DVD of which has been gathering dust in our house since last Xmas

Haha,it was great timing by me

Lol,do you all talk like Crissy from celeb jungle?kchkchckchckchckch

I'm not actually a scouser - my hubby and lots of our friends are - gotta be said, some do speak like her

I know,if the cheerleading rehearsals are anything to go by

No it didn't look like it at all, think one of the issues was the power struggle tbh

Good one bblover
Not often mentioned
But I'm sure
It was important

.
Okay, I've replied within the quote - just going to see how that works out

this thread was at the top of the appreciation boards....

how many months ago was it that John left?
and how many months has it been since he has spoken to his fans....

wow most impressive.....

and did anyone else see Josie's contemplative article in Now? she doesnt directly mention John by name, whihc is good, but does mention that she has been rewatching the first episode of TSAJ, and implies that any woman in a relationship that isnt working should end it......

excuse me....
but who was it that left JJJ first?
I know - brilliant isn't it? (even if I do talk about football rather a lot,at least John is interested in it )

Yes, I did see the article, thought it was awful, really hope someone else 'ghosted' it and she never read it

Yep, memory can play tricks.......

How do we do it eh?Feels good, after many attempts to close this thread down, many alerts,accusations...we're still occasionally on the first page waheeeey

Well,i can't rply to you know,or was that why you did it that way?

I love to listen to different accents, even though sometimes i don't understand a thing

Remember Rachel 2 from BB,sometimes i had to listen really good to get what she was saying lol

Sorry, seriously I hadn't realised you couldn't reply......

I do love the Liverpool accent, it's friendly, open, funny (and occasionally lends itself to great sarcasm )

I think John went to a QPR match with JJ - though of course that doesn't mean he supports them .......wonder whether he's still in touch with JJ??

hope you feel better soon......

its miserable to feel really unwell....

but

trying to be positive...

at least this way you should be over it and fit and better for christmas itself.

Do you cook you christmas dinner?

My husband decided a few years ago that he wanted to try cooking christmas dinner, when my family came over,

bascially so that he could go and hide in the kitchen, and leave me to be sociable....

but at least it now means that as he is the expert...
he does the main cooking and I am the assistant..
.allowed to prepare the veg and lay the table.....

thank you.....

and yes I did take some pics, and the camera is waiting by the side of me for me to finish chatting and to do some downloading....

they arent very exciting pics though...

but have I given my days account yet?

I took a bus to Oxford street and had a lovely meander wandering down to trafalgar square.....

Then Nyannie and I went to the National Portrait gallery to see the paintings of 18th century actresses, which were incredible...they were so beautiful and the women being painted all had such strong characters...

then we wandered up charing cross road to the restaurant. After a brief wait ...wondering if they had forgotten us...
we were shown to our table upstairs and we waited for everyone else to arrive....

it was lovely to meet everyone and have a good chat about ....so many silly things......

and the waiters were so patient with us...we actually started to order 3 or 4 times ...but each time, someone else would arrive, so we would send the waiter away again.... and then gesture him over a few minutes later.....

i had a lovely lunch, and its so nice to have a chance to meet and chat to people .....

as has been said elsewhere the friendships made on these threads have been so impressive.....

I agree Georgy theres a few people i have a lot of respect for on here and Muggins is one of them.
She deserves it the way she and a few more people defended JJJ in the court thread.

Good morning all.

Had a lovely time yesterday. Glad to hear everyone got home OK although we haven't heard from Augusta. Hope she is OK. She was the official thread photographer. If you want to see us (hope I don't look like a stuffed sausage), please contact her.

Sorry I had my phone on but guess the ring wasn't loud enough.

It is lovely to meet new friends and keep the old - like the song says, one is silver and the other is gold. What wonderful people the members of the JJAT are.
Sorry to have missed out, sounds like you were the perfect hostess once again Ann and everyone loved the meetup. Hopefully you all hatched some plans to keep JJAT going well into 2012, notwithstanding the MIA status of the object of our adoration.

How wrong was I ? Shall we just say that I spent a good 30 mins walking round and round Leicester Square, looking for said restaurant, half - catching the eye of numerous other women who seemed to be similarly confused. Could one of them be Georgy, or Augusta, or Ucra?? ( I had already met Nyannie elsewhere, so no confusion there). I finally ended up asking a 'Big Issue' seller for directions (offering to buy a mag if necessary, of course). He couldn't help, called over his mate who was similarly unable to assist; they then called another guy who they said was 'a guide, and must know' - but of course he didn't. So I went into Pizza Express to ask, no joy there either.

So......thank you nyannie, augusta, georgy and ucra for a lovely day, it was brilliant to meet up with you all.
Just as important: will your daughter be more comfortable in future to let you out in public to meet up with other internet warriors?

now Muggins hats of to you, over the last few days you've come in for a lot of stick

Hopefully that included all the members of the longrunning bitches' coven on twitter. Have to say though I'm quite proud (and shocked) to have been supplanted in their affections by someone as reasonable as Muggins14!

interesting......... tell me again who is qwerty?
An attention seeker, hoovering up the gullible??

Well, we certainly hope to meet up again, but how long we can keep chatting under the guise of being true and dedicated John fans (which we are), no-one knows

Re my daughter, I must say that as I wandered around, I did think she might be right - perhaps I'm not safe to be let out alone In reality, though, she never thinks what I'm up to normally, driving all over the place as a social worker, and getting involved in some quite unpredictable situations! I've always downplayed these things........as far as she and her sister were concerned, I was simply 'at work'.

Good to hear from you Alex - hope you're well.

Do you know, Marion, I had great difficulty in recalling what we did talk about - though we chatted non- stop for well over two hours! I guess that's a good sign - we all certainly seemed to have lots to say

Sounds a bit like Christmas Day in our house I wonder how many people cook as a means of escaping socialising with the family ?
