I was thinking along the same lines - I read in another thread that there's a article in Now with Josie with a caption underneath saying something like - Look What You're Missing John James. Obviously Josie has nothing to do with that sort of comment but it made me think that it must be a bit galling to have no comments from him, good or bad. If he was to say something nasty then at least she would know he was thinking of her. It's as if she has had no impact on his life whatsoever. Like you say, we as fans like to hear a bit of news or the odd comment, human nature being what it is I'm sure she must as well.

It could be the court thread were saying John said he's emailed a girl before he went in bb. They were saying it might have been Sherrie.
I think he's just pointing out its the dumbest rumour he's heard.

I still find twitter ...frustrating...and cant work out how to express myself in such short soundbites. posters like qwerty are impressive, cos they manage to say so much,...in such a tiny space, but even then their messages are confusing and can be taken in so many different ways....



but if qwerty and others like our creativity...maybe we can think of a few more discussion points for them??

it feels as if none of BB at all has had any impact on Johns life, as he seems to have been able to put it all behind him and ignore it..... I wonder if he would have been able to do that so completely if he had lived in the UK, or if it is just extremely lucky for him that he lives the other side of the world..... and cant be asked by producers etc to come and comment on this years BB?

..after all the snippets and extracts about kissgate yesterday, which tended to imply anton was stirring and lying about what he had seen,
the HL show made it look as if Maise and Aaron had done exactly what he was accusing them of doing, so Anton hadnt been lying at all...but was acting more from jealousy and cos he wasnt happy with how Aaron had been behaving.

which reminds me, how artificial the footage is, and how easily things can be spun, into saying what the producers want to be said.....

They have really got to do something

I do think fans and the level of support he received in the UK has had a long lasting impact on him as a person.John is not media oriented,what he is finding problems with is keeping in touch with fans without using the media.The social sites can provide that if only he wasnt hunted by muckers.One way of dealing with that is to completely ignore Josie as if she doesnt exist.I am good at ignoring people and would react the same way if I was in that position.If he was in the UK the media wouldnt live him alone,they still mention him without his presence.

I think he is just very lucky to live somewhere where he was able to escape all the nonsense. I should think he learnt a lot from his BB experience - had his eyes opened a bit!! I think if he lived in the UK some people would have made his life very unpleasant as we know there are some quite nasty people out there. As it is he has been able to let them get on with it and switch himself off from it all.

My parents favourite programme when I was a child was the Prisoner, all about spys and odd storylines that just came round in circles.....As a child I couldnt understand head nor tail of it.....and the bizarre twists and turns of twitter do the same things to me.
Its very philosophical, who is everybody, what masks are they all wearing, and what motivation do they have to do and say all this.?

I use ucragirl in most places and I am inclined to take this as the real qwerty on twitter especially as they havent come to the appreciation threads.That will be obvious

ucra stands for Uganda Community Relief Association,a London based charity where I worked when I first came.I was also a trustee there for a number of years.It is the oldest Ugandan charity in the UK and has been instrumental for settlement.A lot of people choose usernames that mean something to them.

Agree with BIB georgy.I am off to college for a lecture lol.My daughter thinks I am crazy as I dont stop studying.She said she is taking time off after her degree and I told her it is nothing to do with me as long as there is one degree.I had to do my 2nd degree when she was about 2 yrs so she remembers that but I havent been studying since 1995 which seems along long time ago now.
