Brings to mind a former Newsnight presenter, Francine Stock I think was her name (but might be wrong), who bit the dust very quickly. She tried to use the challenging interview style that all Newsnighters tend to adopt . . . but when her victim hit back she was like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Always remember her being humiliated by Peter Lilley, who wasn't exactly the toughest interviewee normally, and she disappeared shortly afterwards!
