Lot of love for John James and his tweets ! Bet he's happy to have a bit of rant and get stuff off his chest! Played havoc with my Xmas shopping so I abandoned it came home and he's gone out or to bed! He certainly sounded like his old old self not the self he was back in March/April!

I think it's safe to say something has definitely rattled John's cage. An email by the sounds of things.

Yesterday I hadnt seen the article in its entirety.....but I saw it today.... I wasnt impressed and it did actually irritate me with its glaring inaccuracies....
and for someone who yesterday was saying John was nasty... Josie herself has put her name to a horrible and nasty character assassination of John....
This is the first time, so far that she has forgotten her manners and put such a nasty thing into print....
Alex gave us an extract yesterday of what was said, which was bad enough, but he missed a couple of other quotes....ie
John James was a manipulator who put me down all the time.....
My relationship with John James was draining. Actually it wasnt really a relationship, more an expensive headache. I thought that things would get better but they never did.
she implies John was immature and relied on her for everything....
she tells us that she doesnt trust John James and that she doesnt want him to contact her...
she says she begged him to take her to australia, but he wouldnt cos he was embarassed cos she was a big girl..
And she put all those quotes into one article..... I think this article is horrible....and very nasty....
and we all know that it is completely untrue...so if John wanted to he could have her up for slander.....
all this unpleasantness about the guy who helped her win BB, and lived with her for 6 months and who helped her to win a load of money.....

this is a very significant tweet, as is the one telling us that he is back working at a surf shop...
He was so rattled by all the death threats and hate, that he has moved to escape them.....
Whatever are endemol doing about this......there is no way that John or Josie should have to endure this much c**p just for going on their stupid show.....
But at least Johns advice is sensible and sound, you cant stop it .....so you have to take other arrangements to keep yourself and your loved ones safe...

Thanks I hadn't actually read that but just skimmed over the bits that were put in the thread. It's very out of order making those comments about somebody in an interview which you were paid for and then email the person you were slagging off asking them to stop the hate and to send a tweet asking their followers to vote for you in a poll and also on twitter to make out that they're being hateful and conveniently forgetting about your slagging them off ....no self awareness at all
I do think though that John might somewhat have played into Josie's hands as he is no longer in the public eye so doesn't need mags talking about him whereas these twitter wars will help keep people talking about Josie.

I love it, to see the real John and not the idealised version some may prefer to see.
He sounds exactly like he always did on our TV screens - nothing to do with lingering feelings after 8 months break, imo.

I've no idea as it's hard to know at times how he views things but if this kind of tactic works then it's a cycle that will probably be repeated over and over and by rising to it he's keeping a person that has a negative impact on him in his head.
But then again different personalities react in different ways. If I don't like/have no interest in someone I just don't interact with them at all whereas it was probably more out of character for John being quiet for so long. If someone pishes him off he rants

Exactly. He's behaving like John James. We can't change him to be like ourselves. He is what he is.
Whether it's a repeated cycle, who knows. But so far it's been what say once/twice in 6 months, so no big deal imo.

Hi everyone, wow while I've been a good girl writing Christmas cards ( I've still not finished them) I see John has continued where he left off.
I totally agree with your post Alex. I think it's great we're seeing the old John we know and love again.
This is why I loved him in the house, what you see is what you get. I don't really understand what's so upsetting seeing him stand up for himself and finally responding to all the crap that's been thrown his way since he left.
I too think it's the sheer nerve of dissing him in print and then asking for his help that's set him off and I don't blame him. Someone here in the UK must be keeping him up to date with what's being said in interviews as I don't think he has the time to be trawling around the internet, not now he's confirmed he's working and has a girlfriend.
I'm so pleased for him. No hiding behind curtains and closed doors as some people like to think. Off to see if the moon has eclipsed for planet Millsanboon.

There is no anger in John's tweets maybe pity for Josie hanging on to something that is not there.She burnt all the bridges for a friendship now she wishes she hadnt,me me me as usual.
