I can't swim either. Passed my swimming requirement at university by treading water for 30 seconds. Even an Olympic Breast Stroke silver medallist couldn't have success with me.

Morning all.

Stubbed my toe yesterday and it is now swollen and reddish blue - and it is the foot I have trouble with. Yuck!

Getting ready to go away for the Xmas holiday. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it - so much washing, ironing and tidying up and when you come back there is more of the same. Have to deliver my last present tomorrow.

Have the girls coming for coffee this morning. Made some Boston Bay cookies and some cranberry bread. My neighbour is bring some stollen

Been listening to Xmas carols on the radio and singing quite merrily along when my husband told me to stop - he said I was too loud - how can you be too loud singing?

Wonder if there are any specific Australian carols. I know bblover gave us an Aussie version of jingle bells but wonder if there are any special ones?

I am a basic swimmer....I can swim slowly with my head sticking up out of the water
but get scared if I go out of my depth!!!

did you know though that most of the pirates and naval men of the time also couldnt swim.....
so we are in good company....

I reckon Johns just making it up though.

just to find an excuse not to be shown up by all those fit surfers..
he tells everyone he cant swim...
so then he doesnt have to look silly learning...

there are some songs like christmas carols and football songs and singing in the shower, that can never be sung too loudly...

the kind of songs that are fun and dont have to be tuneful...

shut him out and just carry on and enjoy.....

why on earth should he be feeling bad about his twitter messages? And how on earth does this relate at all to the outcome of the polls that Josie was involved in?


He is/was expressing his own personal feelings.....


which we can choose to respond to in any way we like.....

and I am pretty sure,after listening to the Leverson enquiry, even in the depths of the worst journalism ever.....if a named person was mentioned in any way...then they had to be informed of this before the article was published...(I think the point was made that it didnt actually matter if they did or didnt say anything, the article would still go ahead, but that legally they still needed to be informed)


so John will have seen everything Josie has ever written about him, this year, not because he is worried about it , or has been searching out mentions of her.....
but simply because, if he is mentioned then he will automatically be sent a copy and asked for his response.....

So John is tweeting again, and he likes the new inbetweeners movie!!

Absolutely agree. Just hope that the New Year is a peaceful one for John and for the rest of us.

Gorgeous day out, just had windows done and put out some food for the birds - and now a quick relax before the hoards (oops - girlfriends) arrive. Hopefully they will be gone by 11.30 so I can watch Cash in the Attic and Bargain Hunt - sad I know but I never get to watch them normally.

And cos I love talking to myself....

not in the way they look, but in their characters and the way they both have a shyness about them, and both have impeccable manners and are well liked by their friends?



Neither can actually be that shy, cos Harry has to go on stage and play drums in front of hundreds of screaming fans...but they give that impression.....


the kind of kid that loads of women want to mother and look after......and the kind of guy they would be happy for their daughters to bring home...

Haha,John said in the house,when he first started working int he surf shop,he couldn't swim,but took lessons after wards.


I think the problem is,that he still out there,but even if he deleted his Twitter and FB,they'll still find a way to blame him lol

Which remind me,during BB last year,there was a thread on the MF,basically everything that was happening,was John's fault,from rain to recessions....mental
