I agree with you, and Id reckon it would have been difficult and heartbreaking for both of them......

But judging by the OK article today, how on earth did Josie and John actually get together in the first place? If Josie was just going on looks and wanted a taller man who was well endowed who she could boss around, and go out for drinks with and have a bit of fun with...........why go for John and not Nathan?

I thought she said she liked the fact that he respected women and didnt want to jump into bed, 5 minutes after meeting them.....

think of that big fat gypsy style OK wedding article which was so strange. and so so fake.....or that Peter and Katie one? Or even the birthday party a couple of months after Josie's actual birthday.....”

The fake birthday party was awkward lol especially with the present cringe. In the last two articles their was definitely cracks

I do not think at anytime John was trying to fool us about their relationship - I think the only person John was trying to convince that this relationship was more than just a friendship was himself. At no time do I think John was unhonest - I think he wanted it to be more than it was and he tried hard to that end - it was just not meant to be

I always thought Josie was suited to Nathan more than John. They are quite similar in a few ways I.E partying.

John meets two of the criteria though tall and goodlooking. I don't find nathan at all attractive or i'm not too fussed on luke tbh lol. He might be a really nice guy thought but the best thing about him his his six pack and John Thomas apparently

But I always though josie said she likes muscular men but neither Jon or Luke appear real muscularly to me lol.

I'm only speculating but we have been told that they each drew up a 'contract' when he returned in January in an effort to make the relationship work. We were also told that she ignored her contract, apart from closing the toilet door - not the actions of someone who is commited to compromise. Did he feel used and persuaded back because of their work commitments? Did he feel manipulated by the tweets about smoothing him over/or details of their personal lives being revealed? Remember how 'funny' it was when she told fans details about their sex life at the birthday party. Did he worry what she was prepared to do for publicity after the abortion interview? How did he feel after their last big argument when OK turned up at the flat without his prior knowledge for an interview? How did he feel about being called a stale bowl of p*ss in front of people?

All I know is that, from what I saw in TSAJ, they didn't seem like a couple madly in love imo.

Yes that's the feeling I get too - he really wanted it but it was not to be.

As regards the email from John, even if it does have an element of truth, which it may or may not have?
on one level what is wrong with saying to someone that you dont hate them, but you hate yourself for staying with them?

Cos it sounds to me like a clumsy way of trying to take the blame, a kind of ...... its not you its me? Its not your fault its mine..... and it does also refer I think to John hating himself for having to compromise on his principles, and do things like photoshoots that he didnt want to do, or dye his hair. or be asked personal questions that he doesnt want to answer....
Or even to live his personal life out in the open air, when if you watched BB11, he desperately wanted to keep his personal life and his emotions private, and not open for everyone to see.

and if Josie couldnt read an email like that and understand the intent behind it, and be able to read between the lines, no wonder they couldnt make their relationship work.?

Agree with this augusta. I think John has probably had quite a rough time over the last 6 months, not least resolving in his own mind how he came to be involved in a situation to which he was clearly not suited

I think you may have hit the nail on the head Jonathan. I have always thought John had deeper feelings for Josie than Josie did for John. Once they lived together the rot set in.

I too agree with another poster who said why buy a car and new phone contract if John was going to go back to Oz. I think John was planning to move in with JJ and Paul when he came over. I do think Josie and her supporters were afraid of what tales John might tell (which I don't think he would have) or that John would eclipse Josie in popularity and career and that they told him in no uncertain terms they would make his life difficult. That is why I think John went back to Oz.

I think the relationship may have stood a chance if they hadn't gone down the media spotlight road and if Josie hadn't reverted back to her old ways.

As for the email - I think this was sone referred to very soon after John went back to Oz.

I really do wish Josie - and the magazines - would stop mentioning John. Supposedly Josie is happy and has moved on, then stop comparing Luke to John. Stop mentioning him. Channel 5 seems to have found ways to use Josie in other BB spin off shows. Time for her to move on, buy that bar and go back to Bristol. To me, this constant reference to John shows that she really hasn't moved on.

I don't think Josie will be disappearing back to Bristol any time soon. I think she is living the life she has dreamed of, rubbing shoulders with celebrities, going to openings/launches, tv appearances etc. I don't watch ok tv but saw on the court thread her appearances when she was covered in hideous fake tan and another where she was dressed as a gorilla. I'm not a fan but I felt uneasy for her - if she was my daughter or someone I cared about I would be worried that she was going down the route of doing anything to stay in the spotlight and maybe John could see the way things were going.

Hope you feel better as the day goes on.

Thanks.Gayaza girls are the cream of Ugandan women all over the world.It is a very British school and we intergrate here very easily.I was working in an area in the NHS and almost all the African women were Gayaza girls,funny were different generations and we all just applied for jobs separately. People found out later that we went to the same school and a collegue from Sierra Leone went to a conference in Kenya and had a few days in Uganda and went to find this school.It was very funny.
Margaret the wife of Archbishop John Sentamu of York is a Gayaza girl.I dont think she even makes the notable alumini list,let alone me lol.I am quite insignificant but very big in Music terms.I was chair of Gayaza Singers,it is was a very musical school in my time.I lost my singing voice 5 years ago when I had the stroke.With a few lessons I would embarras myself on the Xfactor or BGTlol
