I have a cancellation with the orthopaedic surgeon tomorrow so can we make choir practice on Friday morning?
Finally, look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday at 1 pm. No need to dress up just be comfortable. Hopefully someone will be able to take - and upload photos - which will be available by PMing person.

Hi annie
Firstly, I'm sorry, I can't make choir practice on Friday morning as I'm meeting up with friends - gosh, I really do seem to be busier now I'm not at work! I could still make late-ish Thursday afternoon though.
I have the words to a couple of extra carols if you want to consider them - the first is especially suitable for a kind of walk-on tableau if people want to do that, and the second could be adapted to include reference to the JJAT (instead of 'gentlemen' - doesn't quite go, but hey ho

. )
They are:
We Three Kings of Orient Are and
God Rest you Merry Gentlemen
We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts, we traverse afar.
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
Oooh star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to Thy perfect light.
(offers opportunities for people to play kings, shepherds, sheep (me), and even the nativity if we had enough vol - victims

)
Then
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
(?JJAT)
Let nothing you dismay.
For Jesus Christ our Savior,
Was born on Christmas Day;
To save us all from Satans power,
When we were gone astray.
Ooooh tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
Ooooh tidings of comfort and joy
Not forgetting another of my favourites.....
Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
See the blazing Yule before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Strike the harp and join the chorus.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Yule tide treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Fast away the old year passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Heedless of the wind and weather,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Oh, I do love carols.....if only I could sing....!!!
Will leave you to consider how to treat the patient.....
