Duh use Google Ali.... Paul Hogan, that's the one. Funnily enough the woman in that - whom he married - also looked a bit like Amanda Redman... useless bit of opinion there lol”

Paul Hogan is only 72 and looks great for his age

Is he really that old, wow how times goes by so fast, I tend to forget it was quite some time ago that the CD films came out.

I remember The Bridges of Madison County and how much I loved that book, and how upset I was when they said Eastwood and Streep were to play the characters, I really thought they should have been played by people who were younger, and unknown. This conversation just reminded me of that, had big discussions over that at the time lol

LOL, have you seen the movie? I was coerced into taking my niece to see it. It's actually a good movie. I don't know what I think of him, but the movie was interesting.

I did love the book too, just thought it would be hard for anyone to do it justice; mainly the screenwriters.
Clint Eastwood seemed much too old for that part to me. Meryl Streep can do anything from my perspective.

I just thought that I loved the book and story so much that two fresh actors, not faces we know and have seen in a million films, would have suited the parts of these two shy, private characters

Boy that book, I cried so so much Yes Eastwood was too old and so was Streep, much as I love them both I just felt that they book was a couple just into their 40's, but also they were innocent in many ways.

MS is my favourite actress - it just seems what ever type of acting she does - comedy drama any she is excellent at.

She's one of mine too; funny, I hated her when she first showed up, in Deer Hunter and the French Lieutenant's Woman, but she grew on me through the years. She is so very versatile, look at her in the Devil Wears Prada and then in some arty film, she can do anything and convince you it's real, such a great actress

that boy Clint directed himself into roles he really liked ..............the scene at the lights and the medallion in the window ........and the car door handle.............makes me scream inside everytime ........the most cleverly filmed moral dilemma.......ever. .

Goodnight Angie Talk soon, take care of yourself and rest as much as necessary

Yes it's good she's sold the decks, apart from being a reminder of the past they have probably been an irritating item around the house. Best to move onward and upward, she seems very happy at the moment, glowing in fact, so with a new b/f as well she's moving onward and upward indeed

I said I liked some links, I didn't say I like the link. I said I was too much of a goody-two-shoes for THAT link.

I did like the link you posted the other night about Aaron's witty sayings (I think I have the name right, too many of their names seem the same and I'm not watching enough to keep them straight.) Much more my speed.
