Evening all, havent posted for a while cause havent had much to say, also life is busy. Hope everyone is ok. Saw this pm that Downton Abbey had 9 million viewers for the re-launch last night, amazing 1 in 3 ppl watching, been sold to 200 countries all over the whole, dont know how that translates, imagine watching it in Japanese
![]() thats if Japan is one of the country s of course. its an excellent period drama, like Upstairs downstairs, I suppose its one of things we do really well making excellent tv if compared to other places. I think last time I looked BB had about 2.9 million viewers which is quite good too just slightly down on last year.Dont know about anyone else but Im really getting into it, obviously not as much as last year, nothing could top that but its picking up after a slow start and theres some really interesting characters, especially like Rebekah and Mark (whose crazy), maybe thats why John liked him cause he is a bit of a loon like Josie. Talking about JJJ I think I ve got off the bench now, it was possible for them to get back together while Josie was unattached, but now shes in a relationship with the new b/f, I can imagine that she is going to go back now, especially as they are on different continents on the opposite sides of the world. Whatever really happened will remain a mystery and they obviously dont want to be together as its been six months now and if you wanted to be with someone I dont think that you would leave it that long. Sorry if i m bursting the bubble but that what I believe. What I cant get my head around is why Josie is still wearing the comittment ring, she had it on last night again. I dont understand that, cause she could easily afford to buy herself something different, or not wear a ring at all. I'm on and off the bench like a yo-yo - think at the moment I'm off cos, like you, I just can't see them trying to get back together anymore. However, I do still believe if they were to meet up, all the old loving feelings would come back but just can't see John coming to the UK any time soon and Josie won't be going to Australia. Don't want to start a debate about the ring again but, can someone tell me why everyone thinks its a commitment ring as opposed to just a dress ring that Josie's boyfriend bought her - what is a commitment ring? I honestly don't want to start any trivial arguments and I realise that there are more important things going on in the world (see last week for anyone who's not been on in the last few days), but I honestly don't know. My own feelings on the ring are, if it was me, I wouldn't be able to wear a ring that someone I loved gave me until enough time had passed and I didn't feel so raw. But if it was a ring I really liked, I would want to wear it again and would do so once I felt I was over the worst. |

BIB Is it definetly the ring that John bought her, and if so then I agree why start wearing it again if you are in a relationship with someone else. Strange - especially as she hasn't worn it since the split! You'd think she'd be more likely to take it off when in a new relationship - not put it on ![]()

Well, it was very early in the pregnancy and they think I was expecting triplets but lost one - they couldn't confirm for sure but I had 3 sacs, 2 with babies in and one empty and when I first went in to hospital with symptoms of miscarriage, they found the empty sac and came to the sad conclusion that I'd lost my much longed for baby. When you miscarry, you have to go back after 2 days for blood tests and then again after another 2 days. Both times my pregnancy hormone levels were increasing so they scanned me again and confirmed I was still pregnant but only told me about one baby - I had to go back again a few days later and that's when they told us there were 2. They said they had known at the previous visit but because things were quite precarious, decided not to tell us until another few days had passed. Hubby told them he was scared to come back cos babies kept multiplying lol. I had a very difficult pregnancy and was in and out of hospital but cannot fault the care I received - babies were born 6 weeks early and in special care for 2 weeks but thankfully are 100% healthy and gorgeous, and sometimes very annoying like all 8 year olds should be . So a lovely ending to a very difficult 7 months ![]() |

aahhh, my poor little lad is feeling a bit poorly. his temp is over 100 & he's been asleep pretty much since he came home from school, apart from waking up for some calpol.
been on to nhs direct, who are gonna contact the out of hours if his temp doesn't come down. since the calpol it's come down 1 degree, but he's still very hot. he usually stays at my mums on mondays, but we've brought him home so we can keep an eye on him. me or hubs may have to take the day off tomorow if he's no better. the nurse just rang from out of hours. she's given me some good advice, but as he's settled, to just keep an eye on him & if needs be to take him the docs tomorrow. it's so horrible when the kids are ill isn't it. but he's a brave little soldier, he'll be alright x |
