Either watch on Youtube (especially Codebear4's channel) or wait until Monday where it will be shown on Watch

Haven't watched any of the dances on Youtube yet but checked in on Wikipedia this morning when i woke up to have a look at the scores. I'm almost certain 22 is the lowest highest first week score ever given out in all 13 seasons??
Scores were low this week. The sometimes very positive comments of the judges weren't reflected in the scores. They were a bit cautious. I think they were right to do so. There were some good performances, but compared to the last couple of seasons, there's no one who really stands out at this point.

I was pleasantly surpised by Hope Solo. She moved very well and has the potential to go all the way if she's able to loosen up a bit.
JR, the Iraq verteran/actor, was another positive surprise.

Ron Artest was really bad. He moved across the floor like the proverbial (Aussie) sack of potatoes. He could be the first one out. If ít's not him, it will be the skinny Italian girl. She was nearly as bad as Ron. Who ever saw an Italian women without assets?

I thought the worst was Elisabetta! She was laughably terrible. David Arquette was undermarked, as well.

Agree, was shocked at his marking.

I have a feeling her from the Hills will be in jeopordy tonight.

She did not make a good impression saying "I'm not a bitch"

I agree Val! I was shocked Elizabetta was not bottom 2, Nancy was definitely, definitely not as bad as her. And agree David too I really liked him!

Also glad Chas wasnt bottom two, he was a lot better then i thought and had some good footwork, nice to see him through to next week

I thought it was a very eclectic mix of celebs, and I love the fact that the new set is "blackpool"

I liked David as well, and thought he did a very credible dance for the first show, I was expecting a couple of "7"'s in the marking for them.

Very pleased that Carson got through, I loved his Cha cha, not technically brilliant, although I didnt think it was as bad as the judges said, but massively entertaining.

Saw an interview on GMA with Ricki Lake who said Len is the really scary judge...ha ha they havent seen Craig!

So happy Carson got through.

I hope America keeps him in for a few more weeks.

He is doing the Quickstep I think this week. Which is the more funner ballroom dances.

Does anyone know if 'bottom two' is 'bottom one and A.N.Other' or really the bottom two? I'd be really surprised if Elisabetta was popular; Val's a newbie, although he may score some votes just for being a Chmerkovskiy ; her dancing was awful and the bed thing was just crass .

Mark's partner looked good, but he tries so hard to impress on his own account, he managed to make her look ordinary...and it was the same story with Chelsea....someone really ought to have a word

I love Tristan and thought Nancy did fine, but I know nothing about her - maybe she's really unpopular....

Carson was a hoot. The OTT flamboyant campery could be a joke that goes stale if he doesn't work at the technique, but in week one I'd much rather see enthusiatic, gay abandon than careful competence .

I like the new set and couldn't put my finger on why it was so familiar, so thanks Stig

No way was Nancy bottom 2.

She has hundreds of peeps on the DWTS website saying she should stay.

They just wanted to build up the drama.

The set looks like the Strictly Come Dancing one, it has a balcony above the band and the backstage area is a tower.

When Tom announced the the couple eliminated and turned to Nancy and Tristan he said "not necessarily in the bottom 2" so I don't think she was.

Whatever you think about Nancy, she and Carson are bringing the personality this year. I am leaving her legal work on the table because this is a different side of her.

My favourite moment was when Carson hit on Maks and Nancy told Tristan he sounded like a leprechaun.

The interview that you could not see featured the set designer and he had a British accent so I am assuming they brought him over to design the set?

Loved J.R. and he looks good. I think he will do well.

They all follow the same basic style as the mothership - but I think Stig was right and they've added some Blackpool into this one

I wanted to ask a question of those who are following Tristan on DWTS. There are quite a few interviews and videos of Tristan and Nancy. I hesitated to post them because I am not sure who if anyone is interested. I can start a separate thread for him if you are. .
