Ricki is becoming a force to be reckoned with! Her Tango was something special. I thought Hope made a big improvement this week even if it wasn't reflected in her scores.
I agree. For me it was Rob and Chynna who did the "worst" dances. I thought Chaz had improved and was a bit lighter on his feet. I find it hard to judge if he's losing weight. Ricki was saying she's lost 13 inches, shows how hard she has been working

Chynna was really disappointing, I hope she isn't the one going since she's been so good up until now but I fear she hasn't got a lot of public support. I didn't even realise she was dancing a Tango, I thought it was a Paso from the little choreography she did.

Rob/Cheryl and Chynna/Tony in bottom 2. Chynna and Tony out.

It's a bit of a surprise, but I didn't think Chynna was a great dancer and I couldn't really warm to her. Her Rumba was very overmarked for me.

It's a shame but not suprising given how her dance went. Thought Rickis tango was overmarked. It was good but not worth 10s.

Indeed, it seems that, as on Strictly, entertainment value has become more important than technical merit. Derek's Tango was very entertaining and very clever choreographed. That Psycho theme was a nightmare...

I am gutted. I loved watching Chynna dance and thought she was a contender.

My scores and leaderboard for this week

Ricki & Derek 9
JR & Karin 8
Hope & Maks 8
Nancy & Tristan 7
David & Kym 7
Chynna & Tony 7
Carson & Anna 6
Rob & Cheryl 6
Chaz & Lacey 5

Just managed to catch up with this over the last couple of days - never watched DWTS before and I've really got into it. Think it's between Rikki and JR, Carson's entertaining to watch, David's a bit hit and miss. Rob should go next.

I especially like the set with the upper tier and tables round one of the edges. The audience seem a bit more glammed up than the British version too.

I agree. I think if JR continues like this he'll win it. I've been knocked out by his performances so far - that jive that was marked down for being too Lindy Hoppy was simply one of the best dances I've seen on either DWTS or Strictly.

I was a bit worried when I first read he was going to be in it as sometimes people can be kept in these shows because of their hero status away from it, but he deserves to be there simply on performance alone.

I don't know much about Ricki Lake, but Derek as ever is bringing out the best in his partner and I hope they stick around just because I enjoy watching Derek dance.
Carson's entertaining to watch
He certainly is. Very enthusiastic

David's a bit hit and miss.
I really can't take to him at all. Find him a bit over the top in his approach.

Rob should go next.

I was definitely worried that JR would be kept in because of his hero status, but not only has he proved to be a great dancer, I am amazed at how quickly I have forgotten about his scars and just see him for what he is - a man.

Sorry, if that sounds shallow, but I just wanted to say it. I'm in the UK, so I haven't watched him as an actor on TV and don't know anyone with that kind of disfigurement, so I have no experience to go by, but I'm glad he's done the show because maybe others will also feel more comfortable the next time they meet someone who looks different.

Just as people admire Chaz for taking part and raising awareness of his circumstances, I admire JR for doing the same thing.

It was seeing an article about week 3 (the one where the dance told a story) that prompted me to watch DWTS. I absolutely love him, despite never having heard of him before last week, he just seems to have an innate grace and charm..There are moments when he's dancing, when I genuinely can't tell who is the pro. (but I'm only a casual viewer).

On another note, love the contrast with Len on this compared to Strictly, they should get Craig on there...and as for the teeth on both celebrities and pros

I thought you might be interested in this for those following J.R. and how he became an actor.

What is incredible about J.R is that he says has no dancing experience at all. He is a natural.

Just watched it on Watch

Really rather upset about the result I really love Tony and I know Chynna went wrong but she was by no means the worst dancer and I think they have gone before their time but I suppose they didnt have the support.

I loved Ricki and Derek thought it was fantastic

Carson and Anna was completly bonkers but made me laugh.

I wish Hope was slightly less athletic.....I loved their Woody & Jessie routine and she is a stunning looking girl she just doesnt have the grace required for a beautiful ballroom but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The results show was a bit of dejavue from the Strictly results show......just wish we had had Derek and Julianne's jive on strictly too.

JR looking as good as ever this week, Bruno was getting hot under the collar. I quite like Hope but was worrying they were going to trip over the coat, hated Rikki's dance - wrong song, bad singer, awful dress. 30 seconds of Rob's dance and I had to fastforward. Still love Carson and although he's no dancer I'd be happy to see him staying above Rob & Nancy.

I was in that I thought Rob's rumba was terrific

and I thought he'd be out by week 3

polls seem to suggest Carson might be the one going out, I hope not as he's so entertaining. the other possible candidate is Nancy, shame because I like looking at Tristan

Although he's still miles behind the others, I think Chaz made a big improvement. Hated Rickis dance. Loved JRs. Enjoyed most dances

I haven't watched the full ep but watched JRs dance I love him and he was the one I'd never even heard a little about at the beginning.

Fancy Carson going.
I'm a bit surprised, thought he had at least one more week in him. But it's the right result.
I wish him all the best as the new governor of Texas.

I'm sorry he's gone too, I was hoping he was going to stay another week. He had a lovely personality and made me laugh loads.

Not surprised Hope was in the bottom 2 as well.

I agree, Chaz is improving, I wonder how much weight he's lost, you can definitely see it in the face.
