I've just watched the Team Paso & the Hope/Maks thing was awful.
I'm unsure if it's been edited badly to show him up but he others looked shocked.

I really feel sorry for Hope.

Wanted to add am not condoning abusive behaviour or acting as an apologist for Maks. I think he does need to sort out his temper it is letting him down badly.Perhaps he needs the love of a good woman,worked wonders for Brendan(less so for James) I think he needs to leave the show and get himself sorted out.

I do think there is a lot of editing going on though ( has been seen on both scd and Dwts one argument can be stretched to make it seem like thats all they do and I do seriously wonder if this is a you want to criticise us here you go tactic from the powers that be) The edits that are shown do not seem to tally with the tweets or the out and abouts that I've seen of them,seems odd to me but it has happened before with Brandy on Dwts and they are still good friends and with other couples on both programmes.Whatever the case the dancing partnership is not working and I think they both need to be put out of their misery on this. Trouble is I can't stand Rob or Nancy either...can we have a triple vote off?

Odd lot they are.....but it is turning out to be a great season....and for me...JR is going to Win it.

But with that Fool Maks, she's not getting much help.....Never liked him, and after seeing him on Last weeks show {Watch last night}....I just hope he doesn't come back, next season.

I will have to find the video but Maks was horrible with Hope last night especially in the group paso. He walked out and Derek took over teaching her the steps. How much was edited I don't know but after last week I have to wonder.

It's curious - everyone here seems to have the same impression of what happened with the group paso - yet that's not really what I noticed. For me, Hope wasn't picking up the steps (he's not a great teacher) and Maks got annoyed, walked off and Darren took over. Then the camera panned to Rob who started chirruping on about how one person wasn't fitting in, looking pointedly at Hope (this interpretation may be down to my increasingly strong dislike for the guy)

Anyway, best result for me would be seeing the end of Rob, still don't much like Nancy but am now nursing a huge crush on Tristan (and I suspect I'm not the only one!), I think Hope's lovely, Rikki's okay, David makes me uncomfortable when I hear him talking and am still backing JR to win.

Yes, that's what I thought. It wasn't as elaborate as earlier seasons. It was a bit underwhelming.
Strictly, for once, was much better in that respect on saturday.

The whole Maks/Hope ruckus was a bit blown out of proportion imho. I have yet to see a season without Maks and his partner having heated arguments. I remember the season with Debbie Mazar, where she quit on him and he quit on her several times. It was quite uncomfortable to watch.
Maks' role is to be the Bad Boy of Ballroom and sometimes he gets a bit carried away. It's all part of the game.

I thought Strictly was very tacky on Saturday.

Maybe that is his role, but that isn't very fair on his partners. I'm not sure that Hope would ever have been great, but I think that she had the potential to be quite good. He has totally screwed her over. She seems really nice too.

Of course it was tacky, but the right sort of tacky. Christmas tree tacky.

Indeed, it isn't fair on his partners. Especially those that are not up to it. Last season Kirstie Alley was more than a match for his antics. But Debbie and Hope are prime examples of those that are not comfortable with his style of teaching and consequently suffer from it.
It's a real shame, because I also had high hopes for Hope. With any other pro she would/could have been much better.
