Wouldn't pay as well though would it? Can't see DWTS letting him go anytime soon

I do like Tristan
Can we have him for SCD next year please?
i second this he is gorgeous, and that accent.....
Tristan would be just right for Strictly.
I would love Tristan on scd too. Unfortunatly, scd producers turned him down when he auditioned last year

I know. I wonder if they regret that decision now. I'm still hoping to somehow persuade TPTB to swap Tristan for Anton

For the Tristan admirers Nancy Graces YT channel has a ton of very funny Tristan clips.

I reckon that if Tristan had made it on to SCD, his Irish accent would have gone against him, whereas on DWTS it's a huge advantage and I really believe that it is his following keeping Nancy in, rather than her dancing. He does teach wonderfully well and I wish she would listen to him instead of moaning about wanting harder choreography and then being unable to do it.

I don't know... loads of us on the boards have stated how much we like a guy with an Irish accent (Dara O'Briain, Ed Byrne, Dylan Moran regularly appear on lists of dream contestants) & my female friends and relatives feel the same. I think he would be just as popular with female viewers over here as he is in the US.

Just watched the results show. Wow! That Derek and Allison Tango/Flamenco was utterly superb. I think he's the best male lead of the series. I bet Rickie does too.
And I was actually surprised with Justin Bieber's performance with Boyz II Men. Quality singing all around. I need a lie down!

Yeah maybe you are right! I bet his parents would love to have him that bit closer to home too - awful thing is that although us Irish have been able to set up to vote for him on DWTS, that doesn't work on the Beeb ......unless someone can tell me differently, but we've never been able to vote on SCD.

I thought it was good for jiving, and reckoned that Tristan could very easily have taught me that routine.

It's just that the beat of the melody was way too fast and the beat of the bassline (which they used) was too slow for a jive, so that even if she hadn't forgotten her steps, it would have seemed like quite a sluggish dance anyway.

I wanted nancy to go out before david, and also hope before david. bugger

but have to say DWTS is such a class act above SCD, just looking at Ricki's tango, JR's samba compared to SCD?! is like wtf?

Me too, I did last year as well, Strictly looks very stale beside DWTS, doesn't it. First step, get rid of Bruce

Me too. Strictly seems to be more "Hollywood" than Hollywood this series. Seems every week nearly everyone uses unnecessary props which at times border on the ridiculous - eg: Russell Grant in bed with a teddy bear?

And most of the dances are really showdances with very little real dance content. Entertaining for many, I guess, but I'd rather see some 'proper' dancing!
