The cost of a BT extension
I phoned on behalf of a business to ask about getting an extension fitted.
It's about 30 mins work, an hour at a push... you could really take the proverbial and make it last 2 hrs. I asked how much it would cost. £190!!! ![]() ![]() Apart from everything else, this is the North of Scotland - these are they kind of extortionate prices you'd expect to hear of in the South of England. Who'd even see the profit from that? |

If you do it... Their was an extension put in, it's only really for a phone bell, and it has a filter on on, but you can't have the extension and the broadband running. The extension is 90 foot long. Do you think with a regular phone cable, the length is an issue? |

Hard to tell mate, could be any number of things but cable length certainly wouldn't be the problem.
