Food processor & ice crusher recommendations?
After spending an HOUR chopping veg for dinner yesterday, I've decided I need a food processor. But I'd really like one which has an ice crushing facility as well (I love me some frappes!).
Does anyone have any recommendations, the cheaper the better? Ta! |

I have M.E. so find that kind of food prep very tiring, need something to make it all a bit quicker easier and less tiring really. |

I would have thought a blender would be better for ice crushing ?
As for food processor we have a magimix. My mrs uses it for her catering company and after 10 years still works as good as when we got it and very quiet as well. We have the 5000 range but I believe they do smaller ones as well. |

Blenders are better for ice crushing and pretty much depends on how much you want to spend.
For the veg I have a mandolin and its great pop the blades in and slice, chip, grate away and you can always vary the thickness picked it up at a Designer outlet place for about £25 |

I was making a veg plait thing, but the veg all needed to be very fine. I started out using my mini chopper but that was taking even longer.

Thanks for the replies. I do realise a blender is better for ice crushing, but was just seeing if there were some that did both that and chopping/grating etc.
Have found this one on Argos, but hoped to get some personal recs. |
