Looks pretty amazing if true

If true, I'd be willing to hold off getting ann S2 in Dec to wait for one of those. Trouble is, the next big thing is always just around the corner...

That does look good, sadly I only bought the S2 a few months ago so won't be forking out again.

Well I'm sure I'll be buying one as there is no other release of anything in the pipeline that betters my S2 at the moment. Until Apple decide to charm me back with something inovative, maybe in the 6, I'll stick with the Samsung...That said, in Tech terms, the S3 is a long way off.....

The Nexus Prime with it's rumoured metal casing looks more enticing. Plus it won't have Samsung's diabolical TouchWiz UX stuck on top of Android eating the memory.

A quad core 2Ghz processor sounds pretty amazing for a mobile phone. That should make Ice Cream Sandwitch pretty tasty!

Lets hope thay have some improved battery technology to feed it!

Its probably web spam.

Of course an S3 is likely to be quad core, less likely is a hot power sapping 2GHZ. Though 2GHZ running on one single core could maybe be manageable it still sounds like tablet spec.

Assuming ICS has been written to properly take advantage of multi core CPUs, but I doubt it.

Battery technology has barely improved at all over the last few years.

Pleased I got my Arc on a 12 month deal - I will never go longer than this in the future. TW launcher can be replaced you know, this is an Android device so you are not stuck with what the manufacturer puts on.

I have an SGSII with TW 4.0 and I hated it and put the stock Gingerbread launcher straight back on. But this is coming from a user whose first Android phone was a Nexus One, so I'm a bit biased.

I'm pretty sure Google would never allow any UX skin on a Nexus phone, that defeats the purpose surely.

The SGS3 sounds great, but isn't 2ghz going to heat up in the pocket quite a bit?

I have used a few launchers on my S2 but can't get excited about any of them to be honest. Apart from the 30 mins or so messing around with them at set up, I don't notice which one I have running in daily use. It's one argument/debate that doesn't really concern me for that reason...
I'm Currently using GoLauncher by the way....

I'll have a look...

OK looked........I don't think I'm a fan of the windows tile look. Maybe it'll grow on me, but, at the moment I don't think I want to be using that....Thanks for the heads up though..

the US already have an updated version of the S2 with a slightly larger screen and slightly faster processor. I'd think they'd wait to see what cards Apple play with the iphone 5 before finalising specs.
