I'm not watching just reading and this ^^^^ is exactly the impression I get from the posts I read on here even those posted by FM who love it.

It doesn't matter who leaves or who stays

It reminds me of the child's rhyme
there where ten in the bed and the little one said roll over roll over and they all rolled over and one fell out.
there where 9 in the bed and the little one said roll over and they all rolled over and one fell out.

and so on and on

No one really gives a damn who the heck goes as they are all carbon copy's

I think this is the best series since BB7 and deserves higher ratings.

Housemates - They might sound terrible. 18-30, all single. No surprise that it would turn a lot of people off. But I think this is the best bunch of HMs since BB9. Most of them are quite normal and there are no obvious freaks this year. They mix together very well and most of them are adding a lot to the show.

Show - The show itself has been great. While most series suffer from a mid series lull, the show has improved every week. The only time where I thought the show became dull was after Heaven was evicted, and after a couple sub-par HLs the show improved and now is at it's best. The editing of the HLs is still very annoying with the constant musical montages, but I've gotten used to it.

Evictions - Strangely enough, the series keeps getting better even after big characters were evicted like Rebeckah and Heaven. The only dull period was the couple HL shows after Heaven was evicted, but otherwise the evictions have gone very well. Faye receiving more votes than Jay is definitely one of my top eviction moments.

Overall, it's been a very good show so far and the only negative is the lack of a LF.

Well you need to brush up on your outside reading skills then.

You say you've got an insider at Endemol. Why not get them to confirm that scripts are handed out?

Two. As opposed to the 7 or 8 there were in BB7.

Yes, but can you understand that you might not be in the best position to judge, given that you've not watched it? I mean, seriously, Anton is the same person as Aaron? Jay and Heaven are the same? The very idea is ludicrous, and you have no way of knowing that, as you've not watched the programme.

But isn't that the problem? People judged the show without watching because of the seemingly small range of Housemates put in the House, so have no interest in the series now.

I think that's the killer tbh. (live feed apart).

Even Alex's local South Shields paper isn't taking much notice of her because there are two girls from there in Rythmix. Two years ago they had Charlie's Gran doing a column!

While I understand what you're saying, it doesn't seem that that's the problem, no. There was relatively little fall-off between launch night and the next episode.

But hadn't the no over 30s factor been leaked to the press before the launch? So those who didn't want to see a show full of under 30s just missed it from the off.

Either your humour is up with the Gods, or that's just not very funny.

But anyway, I admire your attempts to form opinions on a show that you apparently don't watch.

Yes I think I can because I'm not a fan of anyone and notice how similar the defences are that are made by the individual fans of each HM

This.
C5 made a huge error imo when announcing the line up prior to the first show (eliminating the anticipation/intrigue of a normal launch show) and the 'wacky' soundbites they gave of each housemate.
Im sure that played a part in the lacklustre ratings of the launch show that they never really recovered from.

Never pick on the grammar of a dyslexic

You will either get a pee take answer or a rude one

as far as I know this is not a school room and I'm not taking a spelling or grammar test

Or I'll get an answer that ignores the point entirely.

You chose to pick on my grammar that was entirely your choice. any comment on the content of what I was saying would have been taken as fair comment however picking on the way I word things is not fair comment and therefore did not IMO deserve a serious answer.

Which in real terms means, you don't have an answer to give.

Not quite that simple. My friend isn't one of the producers, just works for Endemol. They don't know everything that happens. And they have their own job to think about. I can say for certain that scripts aren't handed out. But the housemates are definitely being directed in a way that never happened in the C4 years. That, for me, makes it a soap of the TOWIE 'assisted reality' type.

Two nomances? And the rest

Who said there are no freaks? You've got a man who shits in the freezer and spunks in coffee. A girl who discusses pissing on her ex-BF on national television. Alex, who if she's as thick as she's trying to make out, makes Brian Belo look like Shakespeare. Aden - hahahaha, well, need I say more Aaron claimed to cry whenever he got his haircut, FFS. Etc etc.

If these people aren't freaks, I am Krishnan Guru Murthy's cat.

It was a massive clanger - right up there with the all female start of BB8 and frankly barking non-start of BB10.

I agree.

The all female start of BB8 has to be one of the worst twists ever. If they wanted to do something like that, there should have been two launches. One with all female and one with all males so there would be an even number of HMs

BB10 also had a terrible launch. It felt like a non event.

They should have never revealed that all the HMs were 18-30 and single. I think that put a lot of people off of watching the launch.
