What do you buy from the supermarket on lunch break?
Today I bought a pack of babybels £1, a box of Innocent fruit tubes £1 and some chopped peppers 60p. A great lunch.
What do you buy when you go to the supermarket for lunch? I also like Sainsbury's prawn sandwiches. |

Sadly there isn't a supermarket near where I work, just an m&s simply food, and various food chains like eat and itsu and pret. But I did buy some lambs lettuce and a packet of piri piri from m&s for lunch today.

the nearest is Asda but I still have to drive to get there and back in time, there is also a Morrisons but again I have to drive there and back and you can't guarentee that you get a parking space when you do get back. But when I do go I tend to buy fruit (melon bits), possibly a cake or bun and a sandwich.

I cook lunch at work, so it varies.

I buy either a salad from Sainsbury's salad bar or a roll, some form of cooked meat and a small pot of hummus.
99% of the time, though, I bring my own lunch with me so I don't go to the supermarket at all. |

M&S is my nearest supermarket (although I pass a Tesco on my way to station in the morning)
Today I bought some deli coleslaw and some sweet chilli chicken and had that is wholemeal bread for lunch! Same again tomorrow I guess.. Normally I stock up on a Monday and make sure I have lunch for a few days... |

Quite frequently hummous and some pita bread for tearing and dipping. Fancy hummous topped with Moroccan something and fancy garlic wholemeal pita if available.

Not a supermarket but the canteen in my school, I usually don't have a proper dinner so it varies between a Chicken, Bacon and Mayonnaise wrap, a Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap, a Mature Cheddar and Ham sandwich or a Southern Fried Chicken Wrap.

When Im treating myself to lunch not brought from home I can go to several places-M&S, Tescos or Boots. I love sushi so I usually get that when I can. Ive also got a thing for Milkshake (why I dont know as I hate milk but Im loving strawberry milkshake!) so I have got that to go with it.

M&S wrap, I used to religiously buy the Chicken Caeser one but I had an "off" one which put me off, so it's now the Salmon and Cucumber sandwich on brown bread and/or the spicy humus dip with carrot and cucumber sticks. Or very occassionally the Chicken and mustard pasta salad.
If it's Sainsburys a Lucozade and a scotch egg from the deli counter. |
