I enjoyed the Jason/Deborah/Paloma episode. Paloma and Jason were funny and Deborah had a laugh too, she didn't take herself too seriously. At the end of 'Extra Storage' Frank said Paloma won because she had more items in Room 101, but she and Deborah both had two items put in there. Not good editing because she did have more things in Room 101 on Friday's episode as only three categories were shown but last night there were four categories Just being a bit nit-picking

Watching tonights episode, the first thing I thought was blimey Cillas's on - I've heard nothing but complaints about her on Digital Spy. I imagine many a member here would love to put her in room 101

I'm rather disappointed that neither Hugh nor Mel chose Cilla as their "people hate".

Re Cilla - yes, I thought the first of her choices for R101 was a bit rich considering the comments which have been made about her on here and other forums - especially the air crew forums.

And the funniest thing? She's just put herself in there because she does that all the time!

There's even a thread dedicated to her nasty ways.

Hmmmm, bit poor tonight. Can't stand Cilla, Hugh Dennis was dull as hell and Mel G tries a bit too hard.

Funniest moment when Frank showed a clip of Cilla doing voxpop on the public in her heyday.
Cilla: "Don't you know who I am?"
Man: "Lulu?"

Bet she was well chuffed with that!

I like Mel and Hugh, but the show felt flat tonight, imo, and I felt it was because they were on eggshells a bit around Cilla, who, for me, was trying too hard to show how down to earth she is, but not quite succeeding.
I thought she seemed a bit out of it at times, too - seeming older than she actually is.

I think she is older than she actually is.

I liked Hugh and Mel tonight; both come across as amiable people. Cilla was a bore.

Priscilla white is always, and has been boring.

Yes, it was all a bit dull. Hugh Dennis is great on Mock The Week, but he didn't appear interested tonight. Mel was ok, and Frank did his best, but Cilla just seemed to suck the life out of the whole programme.

What do you mean by that, it does not make sense?

The funniest moment for me was (roughly quoted) :

Cilla: "I hate white underwear that goes grey too quickly"

Frank: "Are you sure it isn't just transparent?"

Made me laugh too!

I couldn't watch it. As soon as the first category came up and Cilla made her comments about people, we turned over to BBC2! I had already said to my husband that she would be insufferable!

Did they just get Cilla on so they so they could act out a carbon copy reconstruction of when Cilla was last on Room 101? Surely they can come up with something new.

I found it all too weird.

I liked Mel's choice of 'people who overpronounce Italian words' and the clip.

Cilla did seem very bitter about people who have become famous over night. But I do also think the programme was unkind in picking the worst possible clips of her they could find from their archives.
The "do you know who I am?" interviews she did and also that cringeworthy Royal Variety Performance act she did wearing a lit up costume.
Maybe letting her be the winner of Room 101 was planned so as not to upset her too much.

That's really annoyed me, a repeat that's not a repeat.
