I assume the props guy has left as they are just using a graphic for the "choices" now.

The props were the best thing about the show - almost every one had Frank in it.
They had the same type of props on the Merton version.

Now it just looks REALLY cheap - but not in an endearing way like the Hancock series

I'm normally a Frank Skinner fan but in this series he is pretty poor. The new format is slow and tedious and this weeks guests were poor as well which didn't help.

Meera didn't mention being Indian once. That must be the longest I have ever seen her speak without her referencing her ethnicity
Why does it bother you, what's your point?

I thought it was the best one in a while, John Humphrys was excellent as always.

I actually thought they were quite good and had some reasonable choices and reasons for getting rid of something. But I prefer the old style rounds of categories as opposed to totally random and am not a fan of the graphics as opposed to the old models.

I can't understand the reason for dropping the categories.
Ok, so it's not a show where points matter or who is the winner but there has to be some reason to choose one contender over another.

How are you supposed to compare and choose between football hooligans and food that sticks to the top of your mouth?

Did you ever see top 100 gadgets on channel 4? They somehow ranked pencils, scissors and an I pad (amongst others ) in order of how good they were. Yeah scissors are definitely better than headphones.

which episode was that? Those weren't the items picked this week.

Actually enjoyed this week's episode. Still don't like the free for all with no categories, and why did Claudia get a bonus choice?

God, he just did bits of standup routine. He couldn't talk like a normal human being if he tried.

Annoying isn't the word, trying to shoehorn gags into everything. It's the same for 99% of all comedians on panel shows nowadays, sycophantic cretins.

I thought it was funny. Wish Claudia would show her forehead more often. She looked quite pretty.

you can tell Frank's sitting there thinking 'you're doing bits of your act' mind you he no doubt does the same!

Yeah I was thinking this must be his Stand-Up material, but he did make me laugh!

The formula is irrelevant. It's just a comedy chat show.

Yeah, scissors>headphones>tube but tube>scissors
It's the new game for bored (frustrated) commuters
you push with your fist to do the train, grab like a crab to do the headphones and do the scissors with the two fingers.
Anyone cheating and trying to change shapes in combat has to top up the other person's Oyster card

Most of Frank's material has also been on his radio show, although with R101 being pre-recorded, it's hard to tell which comes first.

He had plenty of anecdotes regarding the Heston B show and built it up brilliantly but none of it actually got shown which I guess indicates just how much gets cut out (as if we didn't know already).

Shame the chat element, with the guests ranting has been whittled down to a nub.
I actually enjoyed the Kane, Humphreys, Winkleman episode, but I've got a lot of time for Claude.
I usually can't suffer Kane, takes the pee out of his own class, but with no affection.

Too much Frank and his cut-away gags, with the usual crunching of gears and tangential scripted gags. Frank can be funny when he's allowed to bounce off the guests but they don't do enough of that.
