Series 2 of Shane has still never been shown afaik. It was shot but ITV dumped it when Frank refused to sign a new deal with them. I didn't mind series 1 but maybe this was a blessing...
Actually, it think Paramount Comedy did broadcast series 2, but I may be wrong. It was definitely never on ITV. |

I love listening to the podcasts from his Absolute radio show. He is x100 funnier adlibbing than following a script on a tv show.
His Absolute Radio show/podcasts are excellent, but that’s because, as you say, he’s at his best when he’s just adlibbing, the more he’s required to stick to a format or script the less funny he is. |

Not mad on the new format so far. Seems to be turning into just another comedy panel show and we have plenty of them already.

Frank Skinner has changed. It's as if his quirkiness has died! He seems very bland on TV these days.

I'm enjoying this but don't get why there needs to be more than one guest, is it a rights issue with the original format or something?

There is,alas, a penchant for panels these days.
Hence, the alteration to the successful formula. |

Yeah, I'm not sure about this. The point of Room 101 (which was orginally on radio) was to actually find out more about the person in a more humourous way, like an interview with a spin
I'm with Danny on the 'panal show' with D-list comedians though... |

![]() Robert Webb really has a bee in his bonnet about Jeremy Kyle. I thought the ranting made him look a bit foolish, even though JK did go into Room 101.

Guests used to only appear once on Room 101 (I believe).
Will this new format mean that we have another panel show that Sarah Millican can appear on every other week? |

I think it's a very bad revamp of a programme and turned over after a few minutes.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it! |
