I see there is no extended edition of tonights episode because BBC1 is showing the American Football on Sunday night.

You can lose any respect for Packham now.

Thanks for the heards up.

What an annoyingly odd decision. They are showing a repeat on BBC2 so why not show the extended edition?

Going back to the days when they randomly dropped extended episodes of HIGNFY and QI.

Didn't think tonights was much good. Can't stand Tarrant which doesn't help

Really needed a comedian on the panel

I can see what he means when parents show you scribbles and proclaim them to be the next mona lisa but you can't just rip up stuff you find on other peoples fridge

Still think he's a nice guy but he does have some weird opinions!

I haven't seen many of the one-on-one format but I don't dislike this new style. The benefit of 3 people is that there is a higher likelyhood of you liking someone on it! Of course, it can work the other way with one person ruining it for you.

Just watched the Extra Storage version of Episode 2, it was OK I quite like the way Frank stands up for the things that are being nominated to be put in (eg live music and barbecues).
I don't like hospital dramas either - theyre depressing
What were the vegetable orchestra playing? Sounded like the bassline/intro to Stand By Me

They were playing that 60s music from Woody Allen's Take the Money and Run and more recently Austin Powers.

I like animals as much as the next guy, but it seems like these professional animal people you see on TV imply that doing what they do for a living makes them a bit misanthropic doesn't it?

I thought that Frank's introduction to the human race as guests was funny.

I hope a parent asks their child to do a drawing of a lion eating his head while his bloody body lies ripped to shreds.

It reminded me a little of the continuity announcer of Victoria Wood's 'As Seen On TV' when she mentioned she'd mopped up her spilt coffee with a kid's drawing.

If he'd have ripped up one of my girls pictures I'd have thrown him out. He's just nasty

Over reaction by some here to the ripping up of a picture.

Thought Alice Cooper and Chris Packham were both good tonight. Chris Tarrant was the only weak link for me.

Chris Moyles and the human race should definitely have been put in though.

I was a bit disappointed with the new Room 101 when it first came out but I must say it's growing on me.

I think it's a good solid panel show. People moan there's to many of them but they do there job. It entertained me and that's good enough for me.

I think its actually one of the better panel shows to have come out in recent years.

I like the new format. I like the "competition" between guests to get their item into Room 101. Previously it was just the host Vs the guest, now it is more of a free for all!

I was expecting Packham to try and put Pandas into Room 101 as his animal, his written previously that they've outlived their time on this planet, and the resources put into trying to save them could be better used on animals that have more chance to fend for themselves in the wild.

Imagine as a child, you took the time write to you television hero with a picture, say in this case you wanted to work with animals, ala Packham and you discover just how much disdain they have for you and your efforts.

Because, there will be children who have seen this Room 101 show and they will think, 'those TV people are just nasty'.

Good to see old Alice Cooper again, I've followed him for years and met him on many an occasion. Nice bloke with a great sense of humour.

LOL at the Packham reaction .... he was just having fun, it is supposed to be a COMEDY show. I am rapidly coming to the concluision that this country is just full of people waiting to be offended and outraged. No-one can say anything the smallest bit contraversial (or funny), without the "outraged" army marching up the rear. It's just getting boring now ......

Anyone rung OFFCOM yet - WILL NO-ONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN !!!!!

If anyone came in my house and took one of my kids drawings off the fridge door, and tore it up and put it in the bin ... they'd be back out the door before their feet touched the ground!

He's basically one of their highest paid earners and faces of the corporation. Moyles, Clarkson, Fearne Cotton, Zane Lowe, Tim Westwood and a handful of others are all basically above reproach.

It wasn't surprising to me that Skinner didn't put Moyles in - Frank is only too aware how challenging it is to fill air on his once a week, 2 hour radio show. Chris performs 17.5 hours a week R1 breakfast over the past 8 years and is still incredibility successful in the the ratings, surely makes it a difficult choice to take seriously.

Doesn't mean everyone has to like him, but you need to make a clear case for someone to go in to Room 101 and even Chris (Packham) seemed to have virtually no reasoning other than 'just because I don't like (my supposed idea) of him '
