Not for Holby, most try not to because it looks unprofessional and like they can't come up with their own s/l. Some shows do though, Glee for instance. A show I love to hate *sigh*.

But no, not Holby. Not that those s/l are all that great to take ideas from anyway. /no offense meant to the fic writers, I write as well, it just seems to be pretty low quality.

Agreed. Writers of TV shows wouldnt take ideas from a fanfic. I'd say mainly because they're not as good as profesional writers plus most [if not all] fics turn out bias, and what you want to happen because of who you like. Writers have to be a neutral party, most fics turn out happy in the end and are slighty unrealistic because of this. [Not saying script writers aren't unrealistic. They are too]

Not slagging any writers off here. I do love fanfics!

I know what you mean. If the outcome to my favourite story or characters is not to my liking in the tv series, at least I can find a happy ever after in the fanfic story to compensate and dream that was the best ending.hahaha

That is the point of fanfiction afterall! ...I get so depressed sometimes when I read fanfiction and wonder 'why can't the show actually do this. Give me what I want!'

I agree. I have been trying to think of a tv drama series where the characters I like that actually had a happy ending.OK, I suppose Chrissie and Sacha are happy..... for now.

I actually cant think of any characters from any show who are/were happy for more than a few years...? Writers really need to understand that fiction is an escape from the world...we need happyness << 'Persuit of happyness' anyone?! Good film :P

I think I've posted first part of my fic....its confusing..

Over the past 2 weeks I have watched all the episodes from February and am now up to date - I just got behind and never managed to caught up. Does anyone else think that in the opening titles the shot of Serena makes her look like Susan Boyle??!

That's funny, I am far behind. On the beginning of March though but won't catch up so quick. What is discouraging is that you watch a good episode and want more and then the next one is so boring you don't feel like bothering and you get more behind lol

She does, a bit! Actually I really dislike the calculating look on her face in the opening credits. And I can't stand all those baggy cardigans she wears!! I thought I would like her at first, had great hopes for her character, but shes been a big let down. She seems to only care about figures and is constantly manipulating people - she needs to take a lesson from Connie Beauchamp in how to do this properly

I also can't abide the look on Jonny's face in the opening credits. I find him very annoying, all round.

It is worth catching up I think, once Sahira and Greg leave there is a big change in the show with a lot more focus on Keller and AAU, Darwin focuses on Elliott and then onto new F1 Tara and now the transplant team. There were a few boring episodes but also a couple of good ones.

I quite like Serena, she is my favourite out of the latest 3 to join.

Watched last weeks episode over the weekend, didn't expect that ending really like the Luc Eddie dynamic! Wonder what direction it will take now.

This is going to be one long moan of an episode in my opinion. Says Michaels the one trying to motivate the AAU team, by team, I guess they mean Eddi/Sacha [almost wrote luc then!! ] and actually sacha not in this epi..... damn...whos on that ward?! haha...been concentrating so much on Leddi! Oh..chrissie..? Huh...not seeing this epi being too great. By the cast list...looks like its focusing on Darwin, with AAU being the secondary story, so hope we get a lot of Jac!

Everyones going to be depressed [including viewers] over the lack of Luc,and no spoilers have revealed a strong storyline in my opinion... the only thing im looking forward to is Eddi and Sachas reaction to lucs dissapearance...and like I said, Sachas not in this one Baffeled!
Hope im proved wrong!

Good point - have any of us ladies actually made reference to his jumping out of the bed in his boxers - because that was a lovely site

That was the best scene of the episode, haha
Also, I do think, he was looking hot on the roof with the patient's wife and then he looked kind of army fit like in his khaki t-shirt when he was talking to Eddi in AAU. He has definitely got a good body, he take care of it I see.

Maria, Hatz, I am rather partial to the arms and he has got nice arms. Hatz, how did I miss that him appearing naked in Campus!! Then again, I don't know whether it's the mystique that is more appealing than the full naked frontal?

Phwarr Hatz that arse !!!!!! thank you for posting that. Right that's it, I won't focus on the arms anymore and tonight I'm going to be dreaming about that arse - so pert as well. I do prefer him with his hair shorter though

All I can say, he has a lovely everything so far, haha. I definitely find him more macho in a geeky sort of way than Colin Firth and Hugh Grant at the moment. Especially in this episode and episode 36.

Apart from that arse, I didn't find him sexy in Campus but that's only because of his hair. I like the shorter hair in Holby. I never watched campus but did find those scenes funny that Hatz put up. He also looks like he's gained a bit of weight which suits him now. Yummy anyway and agree Maria, he's got the whole package, and I won't expand on that
