Well, if you do, go ahead and vote for it on www.tvshowsondvd.com!

The shows is actually doing quite well (consider it's a daytime soap)

Studio execs are keeping their eyes at that site.

But there is far too many episodes to reease it on DVD it would cost a fortune.

40 minutes an episode
5 episodes a week
52 weeks a year
3 years

Thats a lot of DVD's you'd need to have a seperate room for them.

I read that there are 751 episodes.

At approx. 40 minutes an episode that is about 500 hours.

How many DVDs would that realistically need?

Well they're releasing every episode of Dark Shadows on DVD and that had over 1000 episodes.

Slight edit, Dark Shadows had 1225 episodes and they were all 30 mins long, but that's still a hell of a lot of DVDs so I guess it can be done.

I think the best way for Sunset Beach to go would be storyline DVD sets.

Yeah, I'd buy it. They released Prisoner Cell Block H on DVD but because there were so many eppys they put out 3 'best of' DVDs. They could do the same for Sunny B...

They could but id rather they released the entire series!

If not, what they could do is release storyline DVD's like 'Terror Island', 'Shockwave', Rosario Jewels' 'Baby Switch'. With this one they could just show the scenes involved in the baby switch storyline right through to the end, like from when it started through to Olivia finding out at the Christening, Trey needing blood from his mother after the earthquake, the 6 in a bed fantasy, and then everyone finding out the truth.

I just went on the link but I couldn't see anywhere where you could vote. How do you vote for it to be released on DVD then? Thanks.

hey! was just thinking today that somebody should release it on dvd, but i think I'd need a gap year just to watch them all! Mind you, that's not a bad idea.....
btw, does anybody else find it a tad unlikely that Casey went to Harvard med school...??? Can't wait for all the stupid stuff to start - it's taking itself far too seriously right now. Think I started watching it last time round about the time that Olivia slept with Cole, before she knew who he was - anyone know how long is it before that happens? Can't believe it's back - best buy Five ever made

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/

We should launch a dvd campaign site or something
