I admit I thought that as well but when I looked at the chat and saw the list of questions that didnt get answered ( and that was apparently just a proportion of those that didnt get through at all) I was was pretty gobsmacked by the number of different people who'd bothered to get into a webchat at noon on a Friday on the Daily Record website. For artists like 1D yeah - you expect extreme devotion because thats their fanbase type - but this was pretty encouraging imo for an artist like Matt.

They werent all shout outs or proposals either - there were blokes too - and with serious music questions. and lots of admiration for the album samplers. Tbh Im pleasantly surprised by such interest in him from all over the place (given his promo so far has been pretty lowkey & mainly his radio tour (thus localised). When (I assume) the bigger stuff kicks in it should be interesting.

Thanks for that - LOL he is going to be busy getting married so many times As a lover of film scores I was also very interested to see his response to a question from a chap concerning this very point. I will await patiently to see if he has a little play around with something or other

At KOKO obs I want the full album (and some acoustic stuff) but it would be ace it he also did Uninvited too

Just a quick post between 1001 things needing my attention. The Daily Record chat was fun. I did get through several times, which is a first, asked Jeans or posh Trs for his XF appearance. His answer, Jeans all the way.

Thanks for that Liz - feel better. I had had the same thoughts as Wkd - but maybe the questions from our posters were more interesting and so got filtered in a good way.

Another encouraging sign - when I google "Matt Cardle" on my works pc, he is now the first Matt suggested (Matt Damon and Matt Smith dropping to 2nd and 3rd). Six weeks ago he was the 5th on the list - this shows that the number of people googling him has increased, which is a good sign that a lot of people are interested in him.

I love how he always says "course I will Babe" or words to that effect. I mean, what else could he say.
