Found myself with a spare hour, so have been catching up. I've had to disable the smilies to save myself another hour deleting enough so I could post.

Must be so strange being picked to be in a band and instantly playing to packed houses, then this! I don't expect to sleep Sunday, but hope to snooze on the way down on Monday, travelling always makes me sleep (lucky I'm not driving really).

I've been seriously considering rejoining with another name after I found that googling my username (which I have over several sites, silly me) would bring up every one of my posts.
To get a good reception this early on at a major event like that is a massive achievement. Thanks so much for the report Kaz! x

Someone suggested unjoining, then rejoining with a new name. Alternatively, do you have another email address? I have several and will probably join using one of them and a new name, leaving the other membership intact but unused, just so I can keep the messages etc. Now, who shall I be
At the start of the concert 1 was right in the middle of the crowd on front of the stage about 4 or 5 people back but it was too much for my daughter so after Olly Murs we came out and stood at the side of the stage right in front of the large screen.
I can confirm that Matt did 4 songs

There was some strobe lighting but not as much as i've seen in videos from Orkney and Shetland
