bearing in mind she was 17 when she did this - she puts some of the "they're only young" comments made about some of the UKXF people into context

that's fine I'm not exactly sitting listening to all her albums myself though I do think she'll be around for a long time once she grows up

I wouldn't worry about youtube comments ... Matt's not going to be to everyone's taste, but, like others have said, some people would be negative about him no matter what he does & youtube is welll known for trolling, bad comments, arguments etc ... all artists have their videos dissed, reality show contestants more than most

Personally I really like RFYL & think It's a good commercial first simgle to build on & tjr Gary Barlow connection will get him added promo ..... then future releases from the album will show what he's capable of

I've been pondering on something Wkd said in our previous home - something about the mix of the songs on the album.

I've only been listening on my I phone/PC so the sound quality isn't that good, but haven't really noticed the guitars or rock element so much. The best thing about Seven Summers was the twangly guitars, and I suppose I was hoping for a bit of that. Heaven knows where you would squeeze it in, but I would have liked a big loud noisy track somewhere like Dirt or When you wake. (Yob that I am!).

Not that I'm criticising the goodies we have been given. *kneels and bows before his Cardleness*

I'm finding that the acoustic songs bring on a whole new meaning, with a partic soft spot for letters. furthermore when the tracks are played live it'll be diff again for me. i'm really most curious to hear the egg white song in full. posting from this phone is such a pain!

Yeah, yeah, we believe you - thousands wouldn't! Actually I agree about Miley, she has a good voice and can cut it live - and although she isn't my thing either, Party in the USA is a great song. Didn't realise Jessie J wrote it.

I wouldn't have made it on time anyway, the plane landed early. Would probs have been too shy to speak to him as well But he's 20 mins from me right this second Can't believe it.

Pie I said the same earlier about songs having a whole new meaning when acoustic especially slowly and letters, the latter didn't really grab me until I listened to the acoustic version..then its just..WOW!

Yeah they should have put Chemical on and the acoustic version of For You and then it would have been perfect. And I have two strong candidates for booting off (hint: Matt was noto involved in writing either of them).

I have discovered he is a big liar though. What is that business on Stars and Lovers about the superpower he wants being to make you understand. I have a very clear memory that when asked that question on the show he declare with utter randomness that he wanted a big claw.

Am not a massive rock fan myself so dont miss the guitars too much and am delighted he even managed to include a few soul licks on All for Nothing and Pull Me Under. The latter was the tune I had in my head when I woke up this morning.

Congratulations to everybody on moving on to part 35, who'd have thought it this time last year.
