you'd be hard pushed to find anything decent for less than £50. I'd expect a screen and easy usb plugging for about £60 and deals like that come around often at Dixons/Currys and The Computer Shop. and for £70 you can now get 128mb.

I usually recommend them for price and choice, but your price limit is a little hard to meet... Check it out.

I wouldn't buy into minidisk as it's on it's way down and you'll look silly with a large, aged bit of kit in your pocket when everyone else has got pen drives.

I like the sound of the minidisk, I'd rather have my songs organised into 1gig disk, eg love songs, 80s, artist etc, than have say 128mb of songs on a stick player, or 20gig on a HD player.
Also you can store anytype of data on them, eg jpgs or files.
But Ive heard that they don't really play MP3s they convert them into sony's format??? Here

Yeah, they use sony's proprietary format atrac3. It's also putting people off Sony's new 20gb HDD player which uses the same format.

Try looking for Archos Ondio with 128MB, especially on QVCUK.com. You can expand the memory and I think it's got a radio built-in which you can record from also. Check it out. It's about £65-£90 depending on where you look.
