I am recording tonight's but am still so annoyed with the way the rape investigation is being portrayed. No wonder so many people don't report such crimes if that's what they're afraid of.

I have seen people arrested in pubs and they call their name out in front of everyone and handcuff them etc , so this one is true to life..

Must be great working ( or not working) at the factory with all those long lunches and afternoons off. I'm beginning to wonder whether Sally is an alky. She is ALWAYS boozing

Surely even the dodgiest of dodgy builders would know to turn the water off at the mains before attempting to replace the stop cock.

Did Anna and Eddie actually split up? His name is never mentioned any more and his own son is pushing Owen into a relationship with his newly slimmed down mother, it always makes me wonder if she hadn't have slimmed down - would there have been a place for her in Corrie the place where fat people are not allowed any more

I'm in one of those "why do I watch this rubbish?" moods at the moment.

The sudden golfing prowess of Dev's lad and the spat between Tina and "Juliet Bravo" are just awful. However, the main problem is the whole Frank, Carla, Peter, Leanne story. I accept that this is only "soap world" and so you have to have unlikely conversations, situations and actions to provide the drama but it simply jars when it is set against the background of something as serious as rape. There are just too many times when I find myself thinking "well that wouldn't happen, they wouldn't do / say that". It's a serious subject but you can't take the plot seriously.

I like how the police walk around with mute partners, he never said a word, just stood at the back, even when he ushered Peter into the car he still did not say a word. I thought policemen were allowed to talk

Newly slimmed down? Fat? Anna's always had a gorgeous figure; a far nicer one that characters like Becky or Eva. And very good legs, on the far too few occasions when we've got to see them.

Well hubby left to take a job in Germany, so I think its safe to say they split up, don't know about her figure it looks much the same to me, but as often happens in soaps the personality transplant is amazing, where's the law breaking, trackie wearing family, going by the name of Windass.

Did anyone spot Sean's camp running in the Peter / Frank fighting scene. He went running up, got to them, it cut to leanne and he was trotting over still! Really made me laugh!

Oh how I agree with you, all I know is, whoever cast that woman as the police officer should hang their head in shame, she would put anybody off reporting a rape, talking to Peter she called him Frank and not Mr Foster in an almost kindly tone, and don't get me started on the ridiculous scene where Peter punches Frank in the street and the said policewoman rolls up in the car within seconds leaves Frank lying on the cobbles and arrests Peter and then reverses off

I know what you mean. I get the impression the police officer is being nice to Frank and seems cold to Carla and Peter
