Good mobile for internet browsing on a £80ish budget?

Hi there, I was wondering if you guys could recommend a suitable phone for my dad who wants one with good net browsing capabilities whilst at work.

He's currently with Tesco on a rolling contract (includes "unlimited" data) so preferably one that can be unlocked easily (if it's not exclusive to o2/Tesco), I don't think he'd mind if its used so that gives a greater range of phones to choose from.

He also doesn't seem to mind what phone it is but I get the impression that he'd rather have a touch screen and with radio.

He's getting on a bit (if you read this - ) so something that's easy for him to use/view web pages (e.g. large screen or good zoom).

Erm, it should of course have wifi also, I think thats enough info

I'm a bit out of the loop now with the current range of phones so any assistance given I'd be grateful for.

*edit - so far I have the orange San Fransisco in mind

..which can also be found as the ZTE Blade: http://www.trustedreviews.com/Orange...e-Phone_review.

It has good reviews and it has an up to date capacitive screen. There are cheaper mobile phones out there but they might come with the older style resistive screens which can be less responsive and less easy to use (or downright horrible in the case of the i9 clone phone which is sitting in a box unused where it belongs ).

I'd suggest taking your dad into an Orange shop and trying out the phones on offer for ease of use including the San Francisco. Good luck!

A minimum 4" and probably 4.2"+ screen is needed, especially so for an older fatter fingered person who's days of 100% perfect eyesight are fading.

There are plenty of £15 or less a month contracts around with a free big phone. Or else it has to be the Orange Monte Carlo PAYG which is near double that £80.

I wouldn't recommend the San Francisco for web browsing.
