Why does my galaxy s2 show more on the screen than my iPod touch?

Surely the ipod touch should show more considering it's 960x640... compared to 800x480? I wouldn't have thought that screen size had anything to do with it.. I thought that how much of a web page you saw depended on resolution?

Font size or zoom I imagine though it could be an older iPod.

If the web page is running flash then the galaxy will definitely be showing more than the iPod

The resolution may be higher, but Apple insists on keeping the address bar visible as well as the navigation bar - giving you a very small area to view webpages on.
