Want even more confusion? Factor in miracle day to these very confusing dates. I mean, we assume it happened in the summer of 2011, after the Doctor's death, and we assume that Craig's story was set in late 2011 early 2012. You'd think the headlines would be all about the camps etc, not about BGT. Then again... no matter what's happening in the world, that usually tends to be the case...”
I thought the Colchester Evening News headline/ front page was very accurately observed as a sign of the times we're living in.
So many important stories are sidelined and relegated in favour of superficial pseudo-news about the likes of BGT and The X Factor.
However, the story it featured about a local BGT contestant poisoning a rival on the show is just the sort of thing that is bound to happen in one of these crummy reality shows someday.
I don't want the Doctor to have heard of BGT, it sullies him a little in my eyes.

No harm done, I'll just overlook it.
