They seem to be a major complaint this series

Good thing I enjoy the journey then, eh.

Unfortunately there are those that would speak negatively about an entire series if it's final episode wasn't 200% amazing - and the same applies to episodes.

im sure everything will be resolved but im expecting most things to be resolved with a sentence or a montage etc.

like when the doctor met those 3 kids in the alley. Yes it resolved that question but it did it in a superficial way that didnt meet expectations

There are no poor resolutions the only way they are poor is if they are poorly written and poorly performed. I can only say really that this one and Night Terrors are the only similar "Love" resolutions (I wouldn't consider the Girl Who Waited in this category). Both the resolutions to the episodes were performed and written greatly.

Pajs 1000 liked it. No nitpicking, no over analyzing...we need more Pajs 1000's!

They were simply some of the last people to see the Doctor alive. River was reading their eyewitness accounts in the end scene - presumably based on statements taken from those children once they'd grown up (hence the adult voiceovers for each child)

I couldn't agree more. Pajs1000 seems to be the only fan on here who's enjoyed everything Doctor Who has thrown at us since 1963.
We need more fans like him who don't bother nitpicking or over-analysing.
Some fans seem to think that it is their duty to criticise the show as much as possible for some reason though.

I wonder how that scenario came about?
How did River find those three kids when they became adults to take witness statements from them?
Did she put a card up in the Colchester Post Office window asking if anyone had seen the Doctor in the vicinity in 2011?
What if they moved away from the area or even emigrated?
Maybe River set up a 'Have you seen the Doctor?' website to trace the witnesses.

We'll proably never know the answer to that, but I actually didn't think it was River who got the witness statements from them. River was reading thme in the 51st century, I believe, whilst studying archaology. I'd assumed she was reading historical documents about the death of the Doctor.

Fezzy, I've been told off before by a poster for over-enthusing about the show.
If there is no analysis of the storylines and the dialogue, it makes this sub-forum redundant.

I considered that the witness statements may have been taken by someone else, too.
That seems most likely.
Who, I wonder? I'd actually like to know.
I'm not nit-picking before anyone should suggest that I am, it's just that I'm interested in little details like that.

Indeed. We need more like Pajs1000...but definitely not everyone, otherwise this forum would indeed be boring.
