Based on a specific scene in CT, I doubt it will be

I can't help but feel that her Dad would trump The Doctor as the best man River ever knew.

I hope Kovarian dies so much, that scene with River at the end of Closing time was really sad. I'd like to see Amy, Rory and the Doctor just go crazy on her with knuckle dusters. not going to happen but she's got it coming

Personally I'd say if anyone dies it'll be Madame Kovarian (I doubt she'd stand a chance against an enraged Amy and Rory!). And the Doctor, but he'll get out of that one somehow!

Well yes he did but if the outcome ends differently as some suspect, Moff isn't going to give the game away. All Moff was doing was setting up the events as we know them.
As someone quite rightly pointed out Melody/Mels/River did know Rory growing up but that aside in River's timeline it's very possible for het to kill someone before she gets to know them.

River "died" to save Ten so I guess we could just possibly carry on with a dead Doctor but my money's on Rory.
