Samsung Galaxy S problem

Ive had the Samsung Galaxy S for about a year now and recently its been really playing up, in that the screen presses itself which is REALLY bloody annoying!

So, has anyone else had this problem and secondly is there a quick way to fix it, or is it a trip back to Carphone Warehouse?

Its like somebody is constantly pressing one part of the screen constantly? Mine does that every so often but i find when I press the side lock button on and off the problem stops.

Yeah its like having a small child keep pressing the 'l' button when you're sending a text! switching the screen off and on is all well and good but when youre using iPlayer for example it keeps coming out of it!
